Honestly, I don't think I can listen to Tool anymore. I think my taste in music has really shifted towards mellow, ambient stuff. I'll give it a listen, though; Who knows, maybe I'll be surprised.

I can always listen to Tool, even if I find them to often fall into pretentious nonsense. They've got a very pleasant sound.

That being said, Maynard is a total primadonna. I love that video of a concert where he flubs the lines and pitches a hissyfit on stage.

Yeah, I used to be a huge Tool fan with reservations that I had to like them with other people who liked Tool. It's still good stuff, but I don't like it as much as I used to. My musical taste has gotten far... more electic.
