After the mysterious brutal death of an old friend, a group of teenagers find themselves in possession of Stay Alive, a next generation horror survival videogame based on the spine-chilling true story of a 17th century noblewoman known as “The Blood Countess.”


After reading about this movie in an article from GameInformer, I decided to check it out. Looks interesting to a degree, and I rather like the inclusion of the true story that the "game" is based on. We'll have to see how it stands up to Silent Hill though.

The ads for it on TV look promising but they always do for this type of movie.

I'm with Chuck on this one. I'll be saving my money for Silent Hill. No guarantees it'll be great either, but at least I won't be walking into the movie with the knowledge that I'm throwing my money away.

Oh I've no doubts that Silent Hill is going to blow this out of the water, but my curiosity is still a little piqued. The main thing that I like about it is the integration of the Lady Bathory. That little spot in history, among a few others, has always intruiged me to no end, and if they can meld it well enough into this, it just might be worth watching.

If nothing else, I think it'd make a nice rental.
