I posted this poem a few years back, thinking it was a completed work. Well, it wasn't. I finally did finish it. Wondering if you guys can tell me what you think...

THE FOUR HORSEMEN
By Doc Milo

Corruption of the morning star
Cancerous stains the surface mar
In the corona's flaxen haze
Licking tongues of fire blaze.

Seven Seals bind a scroll
The First cracks open, thunder rolls
The conqueror from Hell rides forth
Bow in hand, astride white horse.

The opposite of Christ is he,
A deceiver from the tainted sea
In ten kingdoms he divides the world
Unopposed till evil truth unfurled.

At the breaking of the Second Seal
Roan horse rider holding steel
Bearing sword and bringing war,
Man kills man by the score.

When seal Three breaks, another horse
Black as night and staying course
Scales held in the rider's hands
Measure famine for all lands.

The Fourth Seal shatters, pale horse rides
Death and Hades keep in stride
One quarter of the world in strife
One fourth of man deprived of life.

Now the Fifth, the Martyrs dead
For the Word their blood was shed,
Draped in White beneath God's throne
They cry for vengeance of their own.

The Sixth seal breaks, the Wrath is known
Humanity reaps the seeds its sown
Earthquake rocks, blood-red moon,
Tribulation now, Judgement soon.

Silence when the Seventh Seal
Is broken and the scroll revealed,
Angels trumpets blasting seven
Shall purge the earth for the coming Heaven.

An Angel blows -- the First trumpet sounds
Hail and fire raining down
A third the land is purged with fire
Grass and trees burn on the pyre.

The Second Trumpet blasts its ire
To the sea is hurled a mountain afire
One third the water to blood is turned
One third the ships and creatures burned.

The Third Trumpet sounds at last
The Star called Wormwood falling fast
Poisoning a third the rivers and springs
To those who drink it, Death it brings.

The Fourth Angel's trumpet brings no luck
At its sound, the Sun is struck
The Moon and Stars and Sun lose light
For a third the day and the night.

Fifth Trumpet sounds, Abyss unlocked
From the deep, Apollyon flocks
Tormenting the unsealed, five months time
They cry for Death to relieve their crimes.

Sixth Trumpet blasts, a calvary rides
Two hundred million troops astride
Fire, smoke and sulfurous plagues
Kills one fourth the Human Race.

The Temple opens when the Seventh Sounds
The Ark of the Covenant shining down
Hail and fire, thunder blasts
Lightning and an Earthquake lasts.

Woe to the man who has survived
For his time shall come to die
If on his forehead, wrist or cheek
He bears the Mark of the Beast.

For the angel pours out his first vial
Festering sores on the marked reviled
On those who dropped to their knees
And worshiped the image of the beast.

Second bowl emptied into the sea
Water to blood for all to see
The creatures there that had survived
Now have surely up and died.

The third bowl emptied in rivers and springs
To those who drink it, death it brings.
To blood the water shall be turned
Preparing the unjust to be burned

By the Fourth bowl emptied on the pyre
The unjust burned with blazing fire
They blaspheme God's own name
And give no glory to the same.

The fifth bowl's emptied on the throne
Of the Beast who rules the world
The men are lost who bear the Mark
The Beast's kingdom condemned to dark.

The sixth bowl on the Euphrates poured
Drying the great river of lore
Unclean spirits preach and prattle
Rally the marked to Armageddon's battle.

Then the Seventh -- "It is done."
Under the great light of the Sun
Upon its axis the Earth is shook,
Just as described in the Great Book.

Look! Look! Upon the Clouds
The Son of Man is coming down!
Seals, and Trumpets and Vials Seven
Have prepared the Earth for the coming Heaven!

It shall happen in the blue of night
When right is wrong and wrong is right
When Death takes Life as his bride
Tis the night the Four Horsemen Ride.
