Man, I get dingy around 3 am. I have another poem somewhere at home from about 10 years ago that's just as weird... and I think the title is 3 AM. I'm reading this now wondering what in the world was I trying to grasp at?

She says it’s cold outside and she hands me my raincoat
She’s always worried about things like that
She says it’s all gonna end and it might as well be my fault
And she only sleeps when it’s raining
And she screams and her voice is straining
