I'm shutting my computer off and I won't be on for a couple of days till I get my head sorted out. Been depressed for two weeks+ and sitting online isn't helping (thanks to everyone who's been listening to me whine on IM - it helps to know people are there to listen when I'm going retarded -_-). I havent been taking care of myself - not eating, not getting enough sleep, etc. and I have to work that all out.

For the few threads I'm in, just keep posting and I'll play catch-up when I come back. Anyone in the Krew who wants to start TSO threads, be my guest. I won't be back online till I feel better (hopefully not long) :|

When I'm not being able to do my job, or most of the other every-day things I should be doing, I'm not really good to anyone. :|

Well...I did a lot of stuff while I was away. I did a lot of thinking, and a lot of other stuff because I was bored out of my mind :x

Sorry. Not posting lately because I might not have a job in a month, I've got no money saved and I will be effed if this happens. RL > RP, right? :(

My thoughts are with you. I can appreciate tough times at the moment, and I know how important it is to eat well and get a good nights sleep.

I hope whatever is going on works out for you, you could probably do with a break from the BS life tries to dish out.

It's not a for-sure thing yet - we may or may not have our building bought out from under us by a competiting convience store.

Head-office is full of morons, though, so we've been kept in the dark for weeks and weeks. They've said to be patient, and once we have our inventory this month, I guess they'll decide what's what. If it's good, my boss may get transfered to a new store, and I'd for sure have a job. It's the not having any idea wtf is going to happen that worries me. :(

:hug for Ori - I'll keep you in mind, too. You need to message me on IM sometime :P [/Dae]

Hope everything goes ok - I know how horrible the waiting can be.

I heard today that the building is definitely sold, so...I have no clue what's going to happen to my job :cry I probably won't have one, so this weekend I guess I'm going to update my resume and get my butt out to find a new one :(

Worst case scenario is - my boss doesnt get another store in the city, and I have to find a new job. Yes, not the end of the world, but it's rare to find a job you actually sort-of enjoy. It sucks, I'm really pissed and I cant do anything about it.

Worst-worst case scenario - I dont get a job right away, have to borrow money from my mother and spend my tax return on bills instead of going to Alabama :cry

Yeah, that's just what I need, to be pepper-sprayed AGAIN >_< At least I didn't get robbed, even though the store did :x

Still no clue as to what's going on with our jobs. It's depressing, and I've been sick - I can't do anything but slap a damn smile on my face and tough it out.

CRAPPY UPDATE #1

Our final day of work is the 26th. Inventory is the next day, but we won't be there. We're all going to go in and hang around for the last shift, and probably go drinking afterwards.

Still no word on our jobs, or rather, if my boss is going to get another store. Everyone has been saying not to worry, but WTF ELSE ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO???

Oh yeah, and I have acid reflux now, so when I get upset, I get stomach acid taste in my mouth! Awesomeness! :|

To fix reflux:

Stop eating heavy foods, large portions, and spicy or acidic stuff.

Get some tums.

I used to have some pretty bad reflux that was partially work-related and I changed my diet, and it did wonders to fix the problem.

I'm going to toss in a "boo unemployment" and a "yay excessive free time that you will secretly enjoy but must look for a job anyway." Good luck finding a new job.

Let me know if you need anything, babe. I think you have my number, but if you don't just let me know so I can PM it to you. I haven't forgotten what we talked about a few weeks back, and if there's anything I can do to help you, just say it and I'll pull what strings I can :)

Well, I got my taxes done, and I won't be going to Alabama anytime soon (unless there's some magical Act of God) :(

I have enough money to pay my bills this month, but it's just so depressing :(

Yes, it is :mischief

Well, resumes are all done. There's an opening for a graphic design/site updater where my friend works, sooooooooo...hopefully I'll get at least an interview. It would be a "real" job that's 9-5, good pay and benefits :o

You know, you could probably apply a bit of creativity and web code and create an ingenious pyramid scheme from your room to pay for your upkeep.

I wish I had a job where I could sit on my butt all day and do nothing. So hurry up and do this so I can come work for you and only have to do marginally more than the founder :D

This also goes for anybody here. If you want to start such a pyramid scheme, I will be happy to get in on the ground floor, provided I only have to work perhaps 15 minutes a day, and that "work" involves playing with folded paper footballs or something of that nature.

Work at a convience store then :lol

I used to get paid to sit around and do hardly anything, and now I don't :cry j/k - I did work, but it's really easy, which is why I think I loved it so much. Plus I had the best boss ever, and had time to work on drawings, writing and whatever and get paid while doing it.
