w00t, the non-disclosure agreement for DDO just ended! (www.ddo.com)
I can now say that I think it's even worse than World of Warcraft!
The game does not live up to DnD and is a complete sell-out. It’s not tailored to those individuals that love and enjoy epic stories with nail-biting adventure and action. Instead, it’s a slug fest suited only for joe-MMO.
It’s a sad day when I can say World of Warcraft has graphics that are more fun and an interface that is more intuitive.
Of course, DDO does offer some fairly cool quests and stories; but, it’s only fun if you have a bunch of buddies playing, and even then, why not just break out the books and roll some dice, drink some beer/soda, and enjoy one another’s company?
The concept was great! The results not so hot.
