For those who live in the UK, you may have heard this on the radio the other day. It was on radio 1 and Scott Mills was filling in for Chris Moyles. Anyway, Scott does a feature called Random Acts of kindness, where someone phones in, says that a particular person did something nice for them and the radio station does something back to that person in return. So the story goes as follows:

A man had broken up with his girlfriend on Christmas Eve. They'd been going out with each other for a couple of years. Now, this left the girl heart broken and with no where to go on Christmas day. She didnt want to tell her mum and ruin her mums christmas so instead she went to the pub on christmas day to drown her sorrows.

While in the pub, these three blokes started chatting to her, obviously heard her story and decided to do something about it. One of the guys called his wife, told her this story and asked if the woman could join them in their christmas meal. She agreed and picked all four of them up.

So this woman, who had no where to go on Christmas day was invited by a complete stranger to his family christmas. Apparenlty she felt like one of the family and was made very welcome.

Just thought it was worthy of note... its not often you hear nice stories like this. Anyone else have nice stories that show that the world isnt all bad?
