I saw the Transformers but decided to pass on them. I might give them a chance come clearance time, but the only one I've seen so far that I definitely want is the Sith Infilitrator and that won't be out for awhile.

Were those little holograms really necessary? What's the point of them?

I think it's a neat pack in, but I'd rather have stands. I haven't opened them yet, but I don't there are stands. The holograms are being randomly inserted with villian holos going with bad guy figs and vice versa. So if you're a carded completist, there are 6 different Boba's out there. Anyone dumb enough to buy six of each of these to get every version is just plain nuts.

Okay, so I'm not totally, completely done...I did find some new Galactic Heroes sets today, Luke and his speeder bike, Scout Trooper with speeder bike, and Luke and Han Hoth-style. There are also 4 new ROTS Galactic Herooes sets, they look great, although none of them were in stock today.

Just got the package in, the Imperial Shuttle is sweet! it doesn't look too big at first but once you lower those wings its massive!

I did get a Droids figure - Thall Joben as well as a Ewoks Wicket W Warrick, a Vintage Cloud Car and about 30 more recent figures.

I bought the Unleashed pack purely because of the neato Yoda. I just want to know why Aayla Secura is in the pack since she wasn't anywhere near Kashyyyk ;).

I just wish they hadn't changed the Unleashed line into tiny little figures. The Unleashed line was one of my favorites, and I'm sorry they've messed with it. I'm currently trying to get a new AOTC Unleashed Anakin off ebay since my naughty little kitty Chewie has basically destroyed one of his lightsabers. Actually, I've had to move all my Unleashed figures with lightsabers up onto higher shelves since the little demon lives up to her name quite frequently, and she has quite a taste for lightsabers :evil.

I didn't check the link but I'm assuming that's EE's crisy Anakin bust. It's the same as their previous Vader from the neck down, with a new toasted head. It looks damn impressive. Like JMK, busts aren't a focus of my collection, but this one is tempting. The only bust I've ever bought was the Cartoon Network Yoda and it's great.

It's not as big as you might think (around 6" by 8"), but it's still a pretty hefty book. Each "day" get a two page treatment so your looking at well over 700 pages. The book covers the making of each of the six films. You see a lot of behind the scenes photos and some great shots of props and sets. I'm still on ANH and I have to say I'm enjoying this book a great deal. I got it at Amazon for around $20 so you can find it on sale.

Kind of... the wing guns wouldn't stay straight and it was rather top heavy in "robot" mode. True. But nah, that wasn't it. I was at a Super Bowl party, and the kid's brother had some Transformers but the kid didn't. The kid was about 8, I think.

So I showed him the one I had and he was like "Star Wars!" He played with it for two hours and was fascinated by it, so being the nice guy I can be at times, I decided on the spot just to give it to him. Toys like that are really for kids anyway. Better in the Toy Story sense to let a kid play with it than just shove it in a drawer.

After I grew out of my vintage Star Wars toys and was fed up of having them around I was about 13 I guess, I gave them to my cousins who were about half my age at the time. Then when they grew out of them when they got to their teens, I was just getting back in to collecting, so they returned what they had left to me.

I've allowed myself to get 3 of the new Saga figures recently...the clone trooper, Commander Cody, and the ROTJ Han Solo. But I'm being extraordinarily selective on these figures, I'm not buying them all. The only other one I'm interested in getting out of the current waves, if I can find it, is Scorch. Otherwise, forget it.

I dunno if these figures are all that popular anyways, at least at my Target and Wal-Mart. They're falling off the pegs, there's so many of them.

Well, I was in Target this morning and went ahead and bought their exclusive Demise of Grievous figure, as well as the Skirmish in the Senate battle pack. I haven't bought a single battle pack up until now, but there was just something about this particular one that made me kind of giggle when I saw it, so I thought, what the heck, why not add it to the collection? :)

I also had the experience this morning of pretty much being muscled aside by some bozo at Target who was desperate to look at the few saga figures hanging on the peg. Jerk :p.

Yeah, it does have a silver finish. What does it all mean? There were a few other figures there with the same silver finish. Am I missing something?

I've got that same Vader. 10 figures were released with that silver finish as part of the Ultimate Galactic Hunt promotion. The figures are exactly the same, only the card, stand, and the holos are different. I've got no interest in tracking down all 10, but some people have gone nuts over them. I hope Hasbro never revisits this scheme, I think it down right sucks.

The only thing different about that Vader is the card, the figure is the same as the regular carded version.

It's surprisingly hefty and solid. It feels like you could bludgeon someone with it. The main reason I bought it is so I have a Falcon that's closer to the scale of the Action Fleet starfighters.

Oh I'm still nowhere close. I have one from the '77 ANH set, 2 from the '80 ESB set (the same glass twice) and a couple from the '83 set. I could be wrong as those glasses are packed away and will remain there until I get a room to display all my stuff in. But what I do know is that I'm a long way from finishing those sets.

Are you using ebay to help with finishing the collection? That's how I've replaced glasses from my collection that have broken. Sometimes you can score glasses for reasonable prices there.

That's where I got all of my glasses except the ESB ones. :)

I got them almost 4 years ago now, and I haven't delved back to finish my set but one day I will.

I'm starting two collections, ones I just recently decided to do. The first, is to collect every single Myron Bolitar novel, I think the author name was Colber, or something like that? Anyways I really love the books, so I'm going to collect them all, read them, and then sort them nicely on the shelves.

The second collection is going to be every single Inuyasha tv series episode and movie made, preferrably in English. One hundred eighty six episodes, and I think like, five movies. But yeah, I'm highly addicted now. I might also include action figures if they are out there.
