Luna Eclypse
Dec 29th, 2005, 10:29:50 PM
There was a woman by the name of Luna Eclypse. She grew up on Corellia without family, a mom or a dad, without siblings, friends, or a dog. She didn’t have a home, food, or even clothing. She didn’t know anyone and no one knew her. She was an orphan; lost and alone in the world and fated to remain so for the rest of her life. She lived in a hole in the wall with one meal a week and a square of cloth the size of a handkerchief that served as her entire wardrobe. She was constantly preyed upon my thieves, gangs, and stalkers. Whatever food she got was stolen, whenever she found a home some gang would throw her out and claim it as their own, wherever she wandered she was stalked and then run down like a dog just so that some sick old man could have a bit of fun. And as she aged she became tough and hard, like soft silk becoming a calloused knuckle. She forgot happiness, joy, and peace, and eventually just forgot everything. She became an emotionless being who could kill a man without feeling anything, who couldn’t show love or anger, but was as blank as a sheet of paper. In her icy blue eyes could be seen the torment and pain she had lived through and visible on her sleek skin were the scars that proved it all.

Now this woman moved on with life. Her emotionless state of being made her an exceptional killer. The street gangs paid her to eliminate members of rival gangs or to join their own members in vicious gang wars. The coronet slums became a war zone as gangs clashed, people were assassinated in their sleep, and entire residents were bombed. All of this was because of one little girl, a girl who disappeared when authorities stormed the slums, slaughtering the gangs and putting down anyone who resisted them. Those slums where converted into luxury housing complexes and the dreaded gang wars were forgotten.

But what happened to the girl, you may ask. She was kidnapped by imperial authorities and taken to special top secret imperial facilities. There she was trained and turned into an even greater assassin. Her body was implanted with strength and speed accelerators, while her mind was implanted with a special chip that would allow her mind to contain vast amounts of information without forgetting a single detail. She pulled of many secret assassinations for the empire, killing off politicians, rebels, and even jedi. But one day she slipped away from her imperial handlers and disappeared into the galaxy. She became an assassin for hire. She made money just for killing people; a thing she had a knack for. With her money she purchased one of the luxurious apartments that sat on the remains of the slums where her life had started.

Corellia

The stars were shinning in the sky as Luna made her way through the streets and alleys of Corellia. Everywhere she looked she was fear and despair. A mysterious cult of dark force users were pressing their thumb down on corellia and everyone knew it. This is mostly due to the mysterious assassinations in the night by assassins that left lightsabre burns on their targets. It was even rumored that one of the assassins roamed around coronet, listening to the thoughts of the people he passed and killing them if he found them rebellious. To Luna this all sounded ridiculous. Being an assassin herself, she knew that no one of similar trade simply wandered the streets seeking victims. That was what common murderers did, not assassins. She let out a hollow sigh. She could really care less about the many groups all vying for power in the galaxy. These sith were the same as the empire, an iron fist hid under a velvet glove.

She pushed her way through the doors of a large casino and bar that she frequented, mostly because her weapon smuggler contacts could be found easily found within these walls. She brushed a strand of golden blond hair out of her face and sat down at the bar. She ordered a eyeblaster and leaned against the bar while she waited; her eyes roaming over the crowds, committing everyone’s face to memory incase it would ever prove useful.
