What wonderful/woeful (delete as applicable) gifts did you receive this festive season? I know a lot of us are too "old" to get the sweet, sweet hauls of years gone by, but I'm sure we all still get some pretty neat stuff. Come and bask in the warm glow of consumerism!

Some choice picks from my bounty are a new TV and DVD player for my room, along with Seasons 1 to 4 of Red Dwarf to watch on them. I also got a popcorn machine, to complete my home cinema experience :cool Lots of other great stuff too, copy of 'Going Postal', to continue my Pratchett obsession.

A friend of mine woke up to find a Darth Vader FX lightsaber under her tree. Her sisters boyfriend got the Obi-Wan version, so they spent Christmas morning locked in a furious battle. :rollin

I got clothes (of which all are nice and will further my sexiness), a Sport Car Club America membership for cheaper racing events, and rally tires :D

Pretty much everything I wanted short of a Lotus Elise or a new Mazda MX-5 Miata with the sport package.

clothing, a DS, and a nice little multi-disk changer for my car (which I had installed a month ago). Good loot, all in all. Though the theme this year, according to the parents "make Matt look respectable through nice and decent clothing"

A box of Axe body spray stuff, a really bad fm am radio walkman I probably won't use since I have a CD player that does the same thing >_<, a hoody, a TV, and an IOU for $50 bucks.

I got some DVDs (Kronk's New Groove and Brothers Grimm), soaps and lotions and smelly stuff (two gifts from extended family were along these lines.. I swear I'm a clean person!), Son of a Witch (book), the soundtrack to the musical Wicked, some pocky, candy, christmas cookies, the King Kong behind the scenes pack :D, some gift cards and a VCR/DVD player, some clothes and two board games!!

I got a ton of great stuff this year. A guitar stand (for my guitar, of course) a couple books to add to my pratchet collection: Wyrd Sisters, The art of discworld, and "the Wyrdest link" (A quiz book on the disc world books). I also got a nice leather coat and enough candy for two sugar commas.

I got $100, a blanket my grandma made (light blue with a darker blue pattern on the outside :D), spongebob stuff for our bathroom, a winnie the pooh pencil cup for my desk and a bunch of little things that I can't remember off the top of my head. My siblings got me some manga and Aqua Teen Hunger Force season 3 on dvd :D

I got a Jpop CD (GACKT!!!!!) and a movie called Moon Child. I also got several articles of clothing, some of which came from my sis's college. Oh, and the best is, I FINALLY got high speed internet and a WEB CAM!!!!! *smacks face* Best Christmas E V E R!! :D

I got Care Bears pyjamas :D and a Hello Kitty book on colours :D and a some more sudoku puzzles, and a set of four placesettings of sushi dishes, and an mp3 player, and lots of candy, and my bf-i'm-in-the-process-of-attempting-to-get-rid-of went up island and was out of my hair ALL weekend ^_^ That made me happy. And what made me even happier was that my best friend was in town for Christmas....Ooh and ani-manga #1 of Steamboy. I think that's it....

I was, slightly. Anyway, the book is actually the complete works of Poe, which is nice. I wrecked one page though, wrote all over it; I was apparently trying to figure out the code in 'A Valentine' but couldn't because of my little buzz.

Also, we now own a nice little home video with me doing a stand up routine with the raven on the cover of the book. It answers me and everything. A regular Laurel and Hardy, we are. :rolleyes
