Yeah, that was my reaction too when I found it posted from a few days ago at another message board I frequent. ^_^;


Oh, and another lil fun tidbit: Verbinski is apparently filming parts of PotC 3 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0449088/) while he's filming PotC: DMC (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0383574/).

I didn't know there was a trailer out either! It looks good. Even if it's a horrible sequel, it will be redeemed by Jack Sparrow. :D

And Keith Richards will be playing Captain Jack Sparrow's father. Well, he's already wasted and has the hair janglies, so I guess that fits great.

AS a kid I loved the Monkey Island games (still do), and POTC has prerfectly brought the fun from those games to the screen.

This trailer was in front of tLtWatW, and it has the best title EVER.

Ooooo, I hadn't noticed that. Ever since his turn as Phillip in Shaun of the Dead, I've been a big fan of his. He was the only good thing (outside of Alan Rickman's voice) in that awful Hitchhiker's Guide movie, and he's wonderfully boozy and embarrassing in Love Actually. He's gonna be great :).

We saw the trailer before TLTW&TW today...my mother LOVES the first POTC movie, so she was pretty much squealing through the trailer. So we already know what we'll be doing the weekend of July 7th. :D

Ooooo, I hadn't noticed that. Ever since his turn as Phillip in Shaun of the Dead, I've been a big fan of his. He was the only good thing (outside of Alan Rickman's voice) in that awful Hitchhiker's Guide movie, and he's wonderfully boozy and embarrassing in Love Actually. He's gonna be great .
I couldn't agree more. He was great in LA and was one of the few redeeming aspects of a surprisingly dissapointing Hitchikers. He should put on a hell of a show as a villian.
