..oh, wait. No it isn't.
We have bear spray at work to use if we're ever held up again. Well, today my boss accidently set it off, and yours truly got a noseful :cry
It happened around 3 and my nose and mouth are still burning :x

Ewww, thats gotta suck. What ever possessed you to keep such a thing in the work place? Sure you could use it to drive off annoying costomers, which would be hilarious fun, but then you'd have to work in it.

You try getting robbed at knife point and see how fast you bring in something to protect yourself. I didn't buy the spray, my boss did.
And trust me, if someone tried to rob me again, they'd have more than some pepper spray to worry about :|

Its better than bare fists, knives, or leg speed when running away. I'd rather have a gun on me but I'd take it over nothing at all.
That being said I really do need to get some and keep it on me at work, since I am not allowed to carry firearms on the job.
How big was the cannister you had? Pretty conspicuous if I recall bear sprays. I wonder if they have any in that concentration for more discrete use?
Also, go eat some lettuce and drink some milk. That helps a good deal.

It's a big can, but I'm not entirely sure what size it was :-/
I've been debating buying a smaller can if I can find one, since I have to take the bus home some nights and honestly, the neighbourhood where I work is going to pot.

Let me look up the legality of OC spray being shipped across the border. I just might make it a christmas present for you :)
That, and I want to make sure you get something that has a narrow, high pressure stream and a good scoville measure on it.

REI offers bear spray for campers ;) It's basically pepper spray in a huge, powerful delivering spray canister.

Huge is impractical though. Concealment is better than capacity.

Yeah, bear spray is not for concealment. Regular pepper spray is, though. I know you can get keychain versions.
