Leave it to Uwe Boll to screw up a movie about boobs and dismemberment.

Never played the game. Was it about that vampire girl?

I'm downloading the trailer now ...

It's about a vampire chick (who makes orgasmic noises when she feeds) dismembering nazis. It's pretty much the definition of "gratuitous." You could probably get Rob Cohen or someone similar to direct it and they'd totally nail it.

Uwe Boll? Can't they just kill him and get it over with?

Though, there are a surprising number of good actors in this...

Ugh. I always thought the game looked freakin retarded and I never played it. But why do they make a movie from such a lame game? I feel we shall never know.

And of course some person will think it was a total success and ask Uwe Boll to make a second one and it will suck for then the first. Oh, what a messed up world we live in.

The games were mindless hack and slash fun. Being Uwe Boll, it's going to be worthless dreck.

He's perfected that low budget, straight to video look.

I have to admit, though: I laughed my butt off at House of the Dead. I wish I knew what made this guy think any part of that movie was a good idea.

The part where he made money?

HOUSE OF THE DEAD

Production Budget: $12 million
Est. Marketing Costs: $10 million

Domestic Total Gross: $10,249,719

So not really. I suppose he could have recouped some of it in video rentals.

No, there is some kind of tax loophole he uses where he makes money.

... anyways, downloaded the trailer (finally) the other day.

Ben Kingsley's prescence alone makes it a guranteed flop IMHO, unfortunately (can anyone remember the last time he had a successful film?)
