Why is it I just can't seam to make a half decent av under 15k?!!?!?!

It's INFURIATING!!!!!!!

I mean c'mon, I see all your avatars are more then fine and their under 5k!

:eek agreed Crystal.

Sig's are required to be 31k or under in size. I'm going to have to edit it out of your post, and please don't post it again until its a bit smaller. :)

Now I just have to work out the av....

*stupid machine still can't get it under 15k*

I keep shrinking and shrinking it, save it to web, it gets smaller but "size on disk" remains 16k.

*grumble grumble*

My method for making avatars is usually to start with a 150x100* pixel size canvas, then add, resize, jazz up, and ctrl+alt+shft+s.

Bingo bango, you're done.




*150x150 is the limit, but I'm a widescreen snob, so I make mine 150x100 ^_^;

I usually set the selection tool to be a 150x150 selection and then move it around on the picture till I get it JUST RIGHT.. then I jazz it up. I dont know why I do it that way.
