I am now an aunt 19 times over with my oldest sister having just given birth to a baby girl this morning!
Megan Fidelia is her name (Fidelia is my grandmothers middle name, not sure about the first one..?O_o), and she is 7 lbs, 10 oz, 19 3/4 inches long. :)

I'm guessing they are not all for the same sibling? Well congrats to you, your sister, and any other member of your family that is happy for the new addition.

Her name is Megan, not Magen. The email I received spelled it incorrectly. And she is my sister's 12th, my other two sisters have 3 each and my older brother has 1.
:D

Your sister has 12 kids?
Now how is THAT even possible? I'm not very good at math, but that's 108 months of pregnancy which translates to 9 solid years of being knocked up. That's insane!

Wasnt all that long ago 12 kids wasnt eyeopening you know. It's only realy been the last two or three generations small families have become the normal.

:lol that's hilarious.
Thankfully, my sister and brother in law are good parents and their kids don't act like that. :p

Oooh! A baby! Congrats to your sister (and you, but not as much 'cause you're just the cool aunt)!
Give her an appreciative hug. Anyone who can raise twelve kids in this day and age deserves one. And a long, long cruise to Bermuda.

Whenever there is talk pertaining to the Davenport household, I always think about that one episode of the Family Guy that used animatronics to depict the life of an Irish family.

Not an uncle or a dad. Seeing as my brother and I both hate kids I prolly won't ever be either.
Poor Mom and Pop. No Grandkids for them. :lol

Until they start harassing you to have them, you're safe.

I think I'm going to adopt. There's enough kids in the world that need a family.

Nah, I think Mom accepted that she probably wouldn't have grandkids years ago.

I've absolutely no interest in having children anymore. A complete drain on finances and time and life, for me, and I consider myself too selfish and irresponsible to be a father. Perhaps my opinion might change in the future but the world can do without anymore neglected children.

I felt the same way about 5-6 years ago. I felt that they'd take away from video game time, sunday afternoons on the couch and worst of all, they'd cry and moan about not being able to touch my SW toys. Eventually though, I think they'll come.

I'm not looking to marry anytime soon either, so I think I'm safe. I'm even too selfish to get hitched I think.

But who would you pass down the fine arts of video gaming and Sunday afternoon couch time to if not your children?
Of course, lord knows what Jedieb is teaching HIS padawans.. >_< :lol

There's a good life outside of marrige, I would agree. But I miss 'special' snuggles. I dont miss the fact my bank account is mysteriously fatter.

Grats Hol.
Although I can't possibly imagine having that many kids, or even being pregnant for that long. Sorta blows my mind a bit.

I remember when Hollie first told me on AIM that her sister had like 9 or 10 kids ...
... and I thought she meant all at once.
>_<
Anyway congrats Hollie on another niece. :)

My mom runs a daycare in our house and has since I was born. So I know for certian that I don't want kids, especially that many. Geez.
