Sudoku - the most annoying puzzle ever

If you have not heard about this, what rock have you been living under for the last year or so? Everyone should at least have played it once. But be warned, once you get stuck, it can be very annoying. On the other hand, once you solve it, its very satisfying feeling :)

I keep seeing books of these as "best sellers" in local bookshops, but I've never tried one out. The fact that it's a number-related puzzle puts me off though. My brain can't handle numbers :p

lol, nope its no trick. I promise. Its just a great puzzle. I have been playing quite a few now and getting better at it :)

If you don't mind taking the time to set it up, importing each puzzle into Excel makes it much easier to solve :)

Unless it's paint by number pictures, I'm not wired for math or number puzzles :(

I usually do the puzzle that is in the daily paper while on my lunch break at work. I've had pretty good success at solving them.

The ones I don't like, though, are when you arrive at an impass in the pattern, and you are forced to use the guess and check method to continue. It kind of takes the fun out of the puzzle at the point.
