Very plain, very generic looking. I'm not impressed at all. Then again, I was borderline disgusted with the first look at the RotS packaging, and now it's one of my favorites. This one doesn't hold much hope though.

The image of Vader looks... weird. Kind of distorted.

Agreed. I was hoping for a return to OTC style packaging. This stuff is meh...

They really should have gone with some sort of consolidation, one standard packaging used during non-Star Wars movie years. OTC packaging not only is appropriate, but it's a helluva lot nicer than this stuff.

While I like the McQuarrie styled Vader look, I agree that the OTC packaging would be much better. I'm surprised Hasbro didn't go with that considering how well received it was.

Yeah no kidding. I can't believe they're just going to let that classic packaging design just rot from now on.

Yeah, not too impressed either. Looks real "mass-market". Which I suppose it is, but still.

It looks dumbed down and low-budget. Like the only places we'll find 2006 stuff is in the bargain bin along with old Bing Crosby and Patsy Cline cassettes.

Updated with images of the 2006 saga collection. They don't have that crappy packaging that started this thread.

Also has images of the tiny unleashed line.

Not impressed by the Unleased figures, but damn that new packaging is sweet. Those backgrounds look nice.
