As I am sure many of you have noticed one of our own has been absent from our midst for some time. I speak of Jarek T'chort. I atempted to contact him via an offline message on yahoo messenger some time ago and he sent this reply, which I have only just received as I have not been using messenger during the holidays.
jarektchort (14/07/2005 00:59:02): hesith - hello and thank you for your message, as you may have guessed i have been without internet access for a long time, but i now have brought my own pc and am around, though not as much as before due to work. i will check out swfans soon and when i can i will get back into it. regards, J
Thought y'all would like to know.

As soon as I return home I will message him. He has been my best friend here for some time (tied with you, Tiberius) He will hopefully resume where he left off. I felt a personal loss when he disappeared and now the void has closed.
Hip-hip HOORAYYY!!!!!!

Tear and his commandos take out the defenses, I pound out a landing zone, Jarek goes in with his battalions.
....and Telan lords over all of us in his Centurion SDs with a smug grin on his face.

Hehehe - indeed, the good old days. Perhaps the reset has potential if we all work together again.

Good to see that he's still alive and hasn't, you know, been eaten by mutant crocodiles or stuff like that :)

I concur. Those poor crocodiles wouldn't have known what hit them.
