Help?

Hello :) My name is Lizzie, and I'm really very interested in beginning to roleplay a Force sensitive character (who eventually would train as a Jedi). Although I've been writing short stories for years, and am a huge fan of Star Wars, I don't have much Roleplaying experience. I was hoping that one of the more experienced RPers here could perhaps "show me the ropes" and perhaps help me to refine my writing so that it is better suiting to this venue. I've read the FAQ and all the threads that I could find regarding the board, but I'd still really apreciate the help; I'm looking to get into this for the long haul, but I want to understand it to the nth degree so that I don't get bored and bail out.

Hey. I duno if this is the right forum to have posted this thread in but anyways, if it is, I am sure the Admins will switch it. Anyways. If you need any help or an RP to get your char into jedi training stuff, just PM me. I would be more than happy to help out. Already have an idea for an RP to try to get your character into the jedi stuff if you would like to hear it. Well, PM if you are interested.

First off, welcome :wave

Glad to hear you're wanting to get stuck right in. Any questions you have, feel free to ask either here or in the RP Discussion Forum (http://sw-fans.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=2). If you'd rather, you can send a private message to a member of staff (myself included ;)).

As well as having board wide staff, each of the individual groups has their own staff. You can find all group staff members listed here (http://sw-fans.net/forum/showgroups.php) with their relative groups next to their names, or often listed at the top of their groups forum.

One thing that might be useful if you’re looking to become a Jedi would be to have a quick skim over the details of the current Jedi. One of our staff members, Lilaena De’Ville, has created a website which has some ’Bios at a Glance’ (http://swf-agglomeration.net/jedi.html) for characters from every major faction. These should provide concise idea of what our current Jedi are like and give you some food for thought on which Jedi you’d eventually like to become allied with. Not all of the Jedi characters are listed here, however. You can do further reading on more Jedi characters in their http://sw-fans.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=112]Biography ( [url) forum[/url].
