And someone's throwing us a star wars themed wedding since my fiance and I actually met eachother here at SWFans. Dunno if anyone remembers him, Judas Escariot. Thank God for this board or else we would never have known eachother! lol :)

Anyways, even though we haven't set a date yet it's in the works to happen within a month or two. Anyone living in the state of Florida within driving distance can come if they'd like. Everyone is asked to dress like their SW character if possible. We thought it'd be appropriate if a few people from the sw boards we go to came cuz thats how we found eachother. :) Since I don't know anyone living in Florida IRL, that makes the wedding somewhat small so we definately have the room for anyone who wants to come.

We're even dressing the munchkin up, we just need to find a cheap Darth Vader outfit. >.> lol I'll keep everyone updated on when this should happen. Someone from my fiance's work is doing the whole thing for us as a gift(she insisted cuz we were going to just do it in the courthouse with one witness since we're strapped for cash).

Awww! How sweet! If I wasn't starting my last year of college in two weeks (which I expect to be a real rock-em sock-em affair) I would definitely make plans to attend! As it is, I have already promised to visit someone in the next few months and am not sure I can afford the time away to make two trips.

Still, keep us updated! I will do what I can!

Congrats you! I'd love to come down and dress in my infamous LV costume (complete with new Master Replica FX lightsaber! woooo!). Let us know when and where and I'm sure some of us here will try to make it down. :D

So far the wedding planner got bit by a spider that made her arms swell up so with that, no word about how far the plans are. o.o I hope that isn't a bad omen. O.o

The person planning the wedding insists on making the wedding for valentines day. So you have plenty of time.... I kinda think thats cliche, but whatever.

Pfft, he owes me for the first Valentines Day he decided to be a jerk off instead of have fun. Plus he forgot my birthday and I was alone on Xmas. :-P I work my butt off for holidays for him and he just sits back.

My wallet is a good deal fatter since I became single AND I'm dropping much more into motorsport at the same time. 600 for tyres, 800 for tools, another 600 for suspension, racing nearly every weekend, twice this weekend..... plus I'm now winning events outright.

Just a fun fact men should be aware of.

Oh dont get me wrong, I cant say seperation / divorce is fun, it's not fun in the slightest. But while I'm doing my best tocome out the other side in one piece and I have my bad days (along with good ones), it's been very interesting to note what I got and what I'm doing these days. There's a warning to both men and women in there if you read between the lines.

I'm actually not that hard to please. Our second V-day together(I was prego at the time) he came home with a pepsi, a bag of chips, roses, and one of those heart box of chocolates. With how my cravings were at that point that completely made my world. lol Then he took me to Applebees. All in all he probably only spent $20 on me and I was perfectly happy.

The only reason our first v-day didn't go over well was cuz I spent my own money on everything cuz I didn't want to stay home on my first real valentines day(never had a bf during one). He pouted the whole time cuz it made him feel like less of a man. *rolls eyes*

I just like a little imagination. He didn't know what to get me the second time around, but came home with what he guessed I'd like. The imagination intrigued me and it worked. ^_^

Hm, I'm not sure that letter's appropriate for a wedding thread.. don't give the groom ideas! She has him right where she wants him.

If I manage to make it to the wedding, I'd want to go as Obi-wan.

why? Too difficult to get the wings for Jeseth? Or you just lazy?

I really wish I could be there to support you two but living all the way across country and not have much money at the moment, it would be difficult. BUT, if my buisness works the way I want it to, I will try to make it. And if not, I will be down there in May and deliver a belated wedding gift then.

I've got epaulettes, the white uniform, belt, breeches, and even the rank plaque.

The only thing I am missing are jackboots in my size. I outgrew my old ones unfortunately....

Too lazy... :) I figured, no one would know who I was supposed to be - at least Obi-wan is memorable.

Change of plans. We're moving out of state. >.< And since we're leaving we'll have to save the money on our own. We can't wait long enough for the person who was planning to give us this whole wedding deal to do it. *sigh* Kinda knew it wasn't going to happen, but this has to be done. I'm used to disappointment anyways.

Where are you moving to?

Kraehe Branwen
Aug 30th, 2005, 01:08:31 PM
New Hampshire. But in order to make it work since it was such short notice, I'll be staying with my parents with the baby in New York while my fiance gets things ready for us in NH. :(

Don't think of it as a disappointment. Maybe now more people will be able to make it, since they'll have time to save up for plane tickets and stuff.

And you can make a civil ceremony at a justice of the peace nice too - just have a big reception/party afterwards. :)

Hey - just rent a hall - or let your parents rent it. and MAKE the stuff for the reception - LOTS cheaper.

And Party hearty - wish I could be there, Jedi Master costume and all.

Nah, bastard ran off with another woman and left me and our son. Its fine though, I married someone else (and might be expecting a baby) that isn't a jerkwad. ^_^ I learned a little too late Judas was a loser. Sorry if that breaks any rules but it's the truth. lol

Jeez, it's been so long since I saw those two names though. How are you guys doing?
