I read about this upcoming novel in the latest issue of Star Wars insider, it takes place after Episode 3 and deals with Darth Vader trying to hunt down two Jedi Knights. It also deals with Bail Organa, Tarkin, and Kashyyyk. Should be an interesting novel and should us show us a lot of Vader. It comes out on November 22.

Did Lucas have any input on this novel regarding Vader?

Not sure, I read the article in the insider and it said he had to change it a few times but wasn't certain if that meant he had contact with Lucas or just with people from LFL. It be curious to know. Regardless I want to read this one, it should be a good insight to post ROTS Vader.

Yeah it would provide some great insight into the early Vader. I just desperately hope that many of those insights came from the man himself.

I can't wait to read this. I'm slogging my way through the first book in the Dark Nest trilogy and I'm not all that impressed. But getting into Vader's head is something I've been waiting for. The last novel that really did that was SOTE. I don't know if Lucas will have much imput though. I'll treat what I read like I do all of the EU, if I like it I accept it. If it's crap I'll pretend it never existed.

From what I have heard the only thing interesting to be revealed in the Dark Nest Trilogy is Luke and Leia learning about Padme and maybe even how she died. That should be a big revelation

That sounds pretty interesting, can't wait to read that book....
Is there any books about Tarkin and his rise to Governer of the Death Star? That sounds like a good idea for a book. I would like to know why he can get away with talking to Vader the way he does in Episode 4....
