Coruscant, not the most prosperous place in the galaxy but it had a few jobs that, if you were lucky enough, could score quite a bit of creds. I was a Freelance Galactic Law Enforcer, it was my job to keep cesspools like this under control.

The Coruscant Police Department hired me for a job that none of the cops there would take. A local gang of Trandoshans had held up a bank, two restaurants, and a pawn shop full of blasters and other lethal weapons.

It didn't bother me much. I'd arrested worse. But something scared the cops around here. I couldn't make much sense of it, Trandoshans, yeah they're big yellow monsters, but not much of a threat to local law enforcement.

"Okay Rex, I get it."
"Ya sure you can handle this one?"
"Come on Rex, you know me."
"Yea but these locals got pretty stirred up when I asked about that gang. It might be bigger then ya think."
"I can handle it."

I stormed out of Rex's apartment in a fury. As the doors to the elevator slid shut I checked my blaster. The carbon scarring from my last fire fight still rimmed the barrel of my pistol. When the door reopened I was at the lobby of the complex. As I walked out a few obvious crooks bumped into me. After checking all my pockets for anything, or nothing, I slowly strolled out of the building onto the sidewalk.

Speeders wizzed passed, bums were doing their regular begging, and thugs were keeping hijacking and mugging a source of income. This planet was full of scum like that, but for some reason I liked the ability to fit in. Being a shadowy figure wasn't much of a rareness in this part of Coruscant.

Afer walking down the maze of alleys, I found the first bank. There was only a few cops left at the scene. As I approached what looked like the man in charge, two little "bobbies" came out of nowhere and each pressed his arm against my chest.
I ripped out my badge, "Its okay fellas, I'm GLE."
"We'll have you check you." The words left the cop's mouth as an omnipotent look grew on his face.
The younger, unexperienced police man butted in, "But sir, he's freelnce. I don't think he should be here!"
"Connor, if he clears he can go," turning back he continued, "but if he doesn't, its back on the street for him."
After being cleared I walked up to the chief inspector, "Sir, Reese Winters, I'm the GLE you sent for."
"Where's Guinson?"
"He was working on a case, don't worry sir, I'm capable."
"Capable?! These Trandoshans tore through security with their bare hands! And you think your capable?"
"Sir, I know I'm capable."
"Cocky son of a..."
Snatching his hand, I pulled the inspector's arm around to his back."Son of a what?"
The inspector began to reach for his blaster when I caught his other arm and cuffed him. As he fell to the floor I looked around the room. Police and citizen alike were staring at me. I noticed on man had a rather scolding look to him.
It was that stare that made me pick up the helpless inspector. After giving him a quick dust off I released him. When he restrainers were off he jumped away from me and began to walk away, turning around only a few times to check if I was comming back.

"Where did you learn that?" A voice said from behind me.
"Nothin' special to it, just saw it enough in holofilms as a kid its just something I picked up on."
"Well these rookies around here never get much resistance from the locals." The experienced voice seemed to crawl out of the old man's mouth.
"That why you guys called me?"
"Well the boys around here scare easy. After word of what those Trandoshans did got around the precinct, this case lost almost every officer."
"So when did this happen?"
"About two days ago, just after the shift change for the noon schedule."
"In broad daylight? They hit this place in the middle of the day?"
"Yea, thats the wierd thing about it, it seems completely random too. This bank barely had enough money to steal. You can take a look around if ya want."
"Thank you inspector."
"No problem." The elderly man turned and walked back to the first inspector I encountered who was now rubbing his wrists.

As she walked through the crowd of people outside the bank Simone could here the wispers of the people around her. She gathered that Trandoshans robbed the bank and tore the guards to pieces.

She finally made her way to the front. Pushing her head through, Simone saw what looked like bodies littered across the floor. After looking around the bank floor she saw two men chatting. One man looked like an elderly police officer, and the other looked like a bounty hunter or something.

After staring long enough, the younger man turned and looked at the crowd of people out side. Simone had kept constant eye contact with him until their eyes met. Simone glanced away and stepped back into the crowd.

"The girls at the barracks would love to hear about this." She thought to herself. "But I need to get in there." Simone scaled the walls with her eyes. Looking for any niche she could use to climb the bank.

She stepped up to the bank walls and jumped to a small sculpture protruding out of the building. Being an assassin helped her out a lot.

(OOC:Third person)

After stepping over countless bodies, seemingly torn in half, Reese finally reached one particular corpse that caught his eye. A Trandoshan, the body didn’t have any apparent blaster marks, but rather looked as if he was killed by a blade of some kind.

“It couldn’t have been a lightsaber. With the bounty on every Jedi in the galaxy, why would a Jedi show himself in front of scores of people?” he said to himself. Reese lowered himself into a crouch and stared at the body. Transfixed, his eyes traced every line of the Trandoshan.

“It had to be,” he said under his breath.

“Jedi? Thought that myself. But a Jedi on Coruscant, unimaginable,” a short, chubby man announced as he approached Reese, “Name’s Finnegan, I’ll be your partner in this case.

Reese offered an open hand, “Good to meet you, Reese Win…”

“Winters, I read your profile. Heard all about your run in with that Twi’lek gang on Ord Mantell. Pretty good if you ask me.”

“Oh, you mean Firith Olan’s gang?” Reese divulged pompously, “Yea, they were hell-bent on accusing me of cheating in their casino, so I just beat Olan in a game of sabacc.”

“Well, back to business, we’ve got twelve dead security guards, four dead staff members, and two Trandoshans with what seems to be lightsaber wounds. Now, since I have access to all of the Imperial info, locally,” Mr. Finnegan belittled, “you look into the whole Jedi aspect of this.”
