I just got this email this morning:

We recently have determined that different computers have logged into your PayPal account, and multiple password failures were present before the login. One of our Customer Service employees has already tryed to telephonically reach you. As our employee did not manage to reach you, this email has been sent to your notice.
Therefore your account has been temporary suspended. We need you to confirm your identity in order to regain full privileges of your account.
If this is not completed by July 12, 2005, we reserve the right to terminate all privileges of your account indefinitly, as it may have been used for fraudulent purposes. We thank you for your cooperation in this manner.
To confirm your identity please follow the link below:

Thank you for your patience in this matter.

PayPal - Customer Service

Please do not reply to this e-mail as this is only a notification. Mail sent to this address cannot be answered.

The URL goes to http://paypal.com.login-user3839.info/webscr.php?cmd=LogIn which doesn't look like a genuine Paypal address to me, but I'm not really sure. I had one from "eBay" recently too, but the link in that to update my 'credit card info' (which doesn't exist) was a dud. There doesn't seem to be any unexplained activity on either of my accounts, so I am pretty sure it's all a con, but I just want to get a second opinion anyway.

Confirm/deny scam?

I had the same thing sent to me a few months ago.

Protect Your Account Info
Make sure you never provide your password to fraudulent websites.

A genuine PayPal link will always begin with https://www.paypal.com/.

Remember to check your browser's Address/URL Bar to be sure you are on the real PayPal site.

If the URL does not begin with https://www.paypal.com/, you are not on a PayPal page.
