God, yes! I've been watching it since it started and am loving it. Amazing opening with U2 and Paul McCartney. Elton John has just finished his set and I can't wait for the Stereophonices, REM, Annie Lennox, Madonna, Scissor Sisters, The Killers, Sting, Robbie Williams, The Who and Pink Floyd. It's going to be awesome. :D

Wow. What a day! :D I watched the whole of the show in Hyde Park and loved it all. Highlights for me were the opener, Annie Lennox, Scissor Sisters, Madonna, Pink Floyd and of course everyone singing along with "Hey Jude" for the grand finale.

Argh.. you actually witnessed Pink Floyd together again with your own eyes? Lucky Brits :grumble

Pink Floyd on the stage again after 25 years was something like a historic moment. The only thing that could possibly top that would be if they managed to bring life to all the bandmembers in The Beatles and put them together after lord knows how many years. I laughed when I saw the "Pigs have flown sign", that was so on the mark. This was the most highly anticipated performance of the evening, and they delivered. I loved the tribute to Syd. Gilmour and Waters enjoying their time together on stage.. performing some amazing guitar solos with the kind of style and perfection, one would be thinking it was a studio production. These guys play on a whole different level than any other live band, IMO. Shame its likely the last time we see them on stage together.

Hopefully, they will have at least put their personal differences behind:

Well, I know BBC and many european stations broadcasted it. As for US stations, I am not sure, but it was shown on MTV and streamed on AOLs website (high and low bandwidth).

Yeah but its a bit like watching Lolapalooza or Woodstock 99 on PPV and such. I'm just not interested whatsoever in watching a concert on the television.

I wasn't actually in Hyde Park. I did txt in to try and get tickets, but alas :( We recorded the whole London show on SkyPlus, so I think I will give it another watch again soon.

As for which satellite stations broadcast it... from what I've read, MTV and VH1 had the same stuff in the US, although they were butchering the concert by interupting all the time.
