I'm just updating the left table, which has been on this site since I put it there in 2001, and I simply asked ogre that it be elongated slightly vertically to better fit some RPs, and that a scrollbar be placed so it would be large enough to allow more links. It was a matter of him putting "height=300 scrolling=yes" into the code, nothing significant. It's completely disconnected from the main page.

btw, please edit out your 2nd post. Your point from your first post is taken.

Yes, and this change was not one discussed with anyone on the staff, which IMO, is extremely impolite.

EDIT: Also, in hindsight, I feel as though my comments in this thread were out of line. While, my opinion doesn't change, I feel as though I could have worded things more constructively.

How is it impolite? Ever since I created this board in 2000 I've always been allowed to make any changes which I felt would benefit the board aesthetically. I've never had to discuss them with any staff members before.

Because I was not the administrator when those changes were made. Im not argueing that the change is for the better, I just dont like the idea of someone being able to change something on the main page of this board who doesnt have the common courtesy to say "Hey James, You might not have noticed before, but the html page in the left frame of the layout is still on my server. If it's cool with you, I'd like to add in some links to Imperial Roleplays."

Instead of taking this course of action, you decided to just stick a thread in here and start changing things. Then, when I come home from work, and come to the board, theres a big bright blue scroll bar on the page, and I dont know why or how they got there.

I apologize for any grief I may have caused you by failing to notify prior to reactivating the Recent Developments iframe.

The scrollbar is big, bright, and blue? On my Firefox it appears like a regular scrollbar. On IE it's more seemless, and appears grey in keeping with the Imperial monochromatic simplistic theme. What browser are you using that it shows up bright blue?

that's nearly the same as it appears in mine, except the scroller bar thing is light blue instead of grey. im fairly certain its just an XP default. No big deal.
