Nar Shaddaa by night was one of those places that tried to mock Coruscant for its goody goody life style. Nar Shaddaa of course is quite the reverse. The Black Sun was th sole government of the Smuggerlers Moon, if you could call them that, and Kelt, being a Vigo and stationed on the the moon representing Sorsha was indeed well known.

And well feared.

Although he was not the type of guy that would punish anyone for their wrong doing, it was not best to try and make fun of his generosity. Kelt was in constant contact with Sorsha, and Sorsha was the kind of person that did indeed punish those that fail, it was best to keep Kelt sweet.

As they always did.

On one of the top tiers of Nar Shaddaa in the fourth distict there was a bar called 'The Nurinco'. It was invite only, club members you could call it and it was totally independant from The Black Sun. After spending a few weeks in Manaan securing a Speeder track deal for The Black Sun, Kelt wanted to take a little steak in The Nurinco.

It was a joint, it was rumored, that was infamous for its Spice Den and trade. It made thousands of credits and even had, it was said, a smuggling ring consisting of one freighter that shipped the spice in and out. Okay it was small but that could be worked upon. Kelt was famous within the Sun for taking something small and making it profitible.

This would be no different.

Smoking a stim a few blocks away was the man himself, waiting on one of the connecting catwalks that linked tier to tier together. He was leaning against the rails, watching the nar Shaddaa traffic pass under him, waiting for his ex wife.

What a meeting this would be.

click, click, click… the sound of high-heeled shoes striking hard against the grating of the walkway. “I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – you really do know all the best places to show a girl a good time.”

The woman lowered her sunglasses. Though the sun only shone on Nar Shaddaa two days out of the entire year, Karuna Kaa still wore a hat to shade her face – or rather, hide it. “Care to explain exactly why I’m here, Kelt darling?”

' Ah, there she is, looking lovely as ever. Though i must say, between you and me dollface i'd change the specs, they dont suit you.' He gave a grin that showed sarcasem spread right down his body before leaning back against the railing that hung high over the traffic.

' How have you been, sweets?'

Her lips pursed into a tight, insincere smile. “Busy.”

As one of the galaxy’s forefront tabloid journalists and media personalities, like was essentially one PR party after another. If it wasn’t for the wonder of modern cosmetics, there would have been bags under her eyes.

“And what about you, Kelt? Kill anyone nice recently?”

' One or two, but what can i say?'

He dropped the stim but over the edge of the rail.

' We have some concerns here in the fourth quarter-' he got right to the point, banter with his ex wife he never won so what was the point, women always won and Kelt was hardly a talker, more of a doer' ' You know 'The Nurinco' ?'

He turned his head to view her and inhale her beautiful aura.

“Intimately.”

The Nurinco was an exclusive little club that Karuna frequented from time to time, when she wanted to indulge in some exotic, not-quite-legal pleasures. Though often ridiculously expensive, it was known – selectively, of course – as one of the cities most respectable spice dens.

“Why?”

Already she was sceptic of Kelt’s intentions.

' I want it' He said straight, there was no beating about the bush for Kelt, not when money was in the works. He owend two bars, personaly, in Nar Shadda now, and managed atleast four others for The Black Sun, not to mention the other establishments and pies that the Sun had their fingers in.

' I want to buy it for myself, i have the credits, but i doubt seriously that whoever is the proprieter will sell it willingly. So we ther go in there guns blazing, thouh i doubt the occupants will like that, and half the occupants, lets face it, have a gun. or we do it you're way, diplomaticly.' he said finaly with a certain acid tone to his voice.

“You want me to sweet talk the owners for you?”

One thin eyebrow arched. At least he had gotten straight to the point.

“What makes you think I’ll help you? What am I going to get out of this, hmm?”

' Part ownership of the bar, twenty percent in all spice trade takings, twenty percent in all alcohole takings and half partnership of the spice racket these guys have, in and out of the bar via their frieghter quite rightly named The Lucky Charm. That name just makes you all warm and fuzzy inside huh? He smiled briefly but it was fake, you could see it, he had planned this all out because frankly, he knew she would want something substantial.

He lit another stim from the packet in his breast pocket and leaned against the rails again, his eyes scanning he upper tier and the lights from the bar itself.

' I can offer no more, thirty percent of the takings goes to the Sun if i could offer anymore i would, but i need the money to, incidently you make enough with your bloody suger daddies dont you?'

What Karuna earned was well beyond what Kelt could offer her. It wasn’t about money, though. It was about her making sure that the Vigo knew that she wasn’t about to do him a favor for nothing. It was a case of scratching one another’s back. Then again, having a stake in the Nurinco would be a welcome addition to her small fortune – not to mention it would probably gain her at least some favor with the other Vigos for her dedication and help. Karuna smiled icily.

“We better be going, then. We have work to do.”

'You know, you always did have a nack for getting yourself into establishments, why else do you think i called you hear, its not like i choose for you to attend this thing if i could get in here alone is it?' Kelt remarked after veiwing her uninterested expression.

He pushed the lift button after they both stepped on the pad.

' I wonder what you plan is this time? Seduce the security gaurd? Rub his leg a little bit? I'll never forget what you did to get into that bloody strip joit on Telos, usign your womanly charms as per usural, these guys arnt just gonna let you in with me you know, they know me, they know im Black Sun.'

“I’m a regular, Kelt,” she replied, deadpan.

“As for your ties with the Black Sun,” she added, resisting the urge to roll her eyes, “the clientele of the Nurinco is hardly the cleanest in the galaxy. The run an up market drug den, darling, they don’t expect to play host to little angels. So long as you don’t make a fuss or start flashing that gun of yours, we’ll be fine.”

' I see, know you way about already do you?' Kelt asked, not really requiring an answer.

' Wheres the boss?'' he asked casualy.

The lift pad reached it’s destination. The pair stepped off into the decidedly more well lit street. Neon signs here and there gave it a kind of ethereal glow. “In the back,” Karuna drawled in replied, as though Kelt should have known that already. The Boss was always in the back, behind a handful of armed guards and a nice sturdy door.

They can to the door at last after a few moments of walking, two huge guards, both Rodians gaurded the entrance with bulk. It was liking seeing two Banthas standing up on their hind legs, he had to admit they looked tough.

' Do you're thing, Karuna' he said leeting her forward as if he was trying to hide behind her.
