Question on Carrack Cruisers.

They're of a size that makes it plausible. I'd assume yes unless someone has read somewhere that they aren't?

I think I might indeed assume that. I checked a couple sites before asking here and couldn't find a solid yes or no answer, just got that they were significantly smaller than a Star Destroyer and had some decent armament and a few external TIE racks.

At least, unless someone tells me otherwise.

I'd allow it. Tantive IV is atmosphere capable, and apparently ships even as large as Venator Star Destroyers have no problem with it.

To my knowledge, the only ships that don't get about in atmospheres are ISD sized and bigger.

Weren't Carrack crusier's used by Thrawn to enter the atmosphere of a planet whilst cloaked and blow up shield generators? Because if they were then that there is your answer.
