Also known as Drin. He wanted to know if his idea is acceptable, and if not, how can he compromise to make it work.
I have an idea that would probably need mod approval. It would call for a little faith in me. Basically I'd be setting up Lord Malice as his own villain group. But I wouldn't be starting my own threads to conquer anything. He'll be a rent-a-villain alt.
I doubt the mod's want the boards to return to cranking out clones. I also doubt they would want just any player to write up a Noghri character. So I'm thinking of a way to establish that Force sensitivity is not possible in clones... and reserve Noghri as NPCs.
Basic outline...
1. Malice has been researching cloning techniques for years. His research culminates when he tries to clone some witless apprentice (redshirt NPC), only to learn that all of the clone's Force potential is gone.
2. Through his spies, he somehow learned of Vader's dirty little secret, the Noghri. So when he learns of the death of Sidious and Palpatine, he goes to Honoghr and convinces them to follow a new master. He does this by revealing the truth of their servitude, becoming their "saviour".
3. He then learns that something about their physiology is so complex that he can't genetically engineer one.
I just think doing these things in a story would be cooler than simply decreeing them as a board policy. It's not like I have huge plans for Malice.
If the Honoghr part is too much, I actually am tempted to make a Noghri character. A rogue that becomes a bounty hunter like Chan's character from my campaign.
ignore the Chan part :lol that's a friend of mine and Drin's IRL. We all play table-top Star Wars RPG
