A question for the Head hunchos

I was wondering if you would give permission for my character's father 's company (A textile magnate) to be awarded a "Synthetic Development Technologies" contract from the Imperials as part of background story for Estelle.

The idea is for his corporation to develop a liner or type of bodyglove for under armor or fatigues that mimicks human skin eg) is self-repairing like skin ( if it sustains a cut it forms a scar and eventually the material knits itself back together, it is waterproof in that it does not get soaked through and waterlog, has a temperature undulator to aide in even body temp and comfort). To be used in say guerilla warfare-type scenarios.

While the development would be legit, Estelle's character is going to be eventually (soon) recruited into the Rebel Intelligence Corp.

The idea for the military contract is to give her some access, however limited, through her father to Imperial personal and give me some storylines to go with.

If you see problems with this, or hate this idea, please let me know so I can think of something else.

Most of the Imperials have been shying from tech development stuff so early on in the boards but I think this would be fine. Since something like what you described would probably already exsist in the Star wars universe (since they are developing something similar here on earth:p )

I see no problem giving you a contract to play around with in storylines.

Good to know. Just to clarify, it will be Estelle's father that will be working with them. It will be through his associations that Estelle will have whatever contact she eventually has.
