Location: Star Point Cantina, Corelia

The smell of cooking meat wafted through the kitchen as Heather waited for the order for table two to be finished by their 4 armed cook. Studying her fingernails in great detail she sighed. The cantina was all together slow which was good at times, especially after last week. Having a whole squadron of Imperials come in and order everything off of the menu had been a bit taxing, but now? He was bored rolling her neck part of her wanted the squadron to come in again because at least when they were busy she didn't have to think about stuff, about the past and thinking about the past was dangerous. Though having them there also made her nervous the head man had literally wiped out the Jedi and having been trained as one the thought of being discovered for what she was made her nervous.

"Heather."

Mind wandering she didn't even notice that someone had spoken her name until a fellow waitress was suddenly practically in her face and waving her hand before her eyes.

"Heather are you even there?"

Blue eyes looked up at Talona and she shrugged her shoulder ok she wasn't but it wasn't like they were busy or anything.

"Kalus is here and is asking to be waited on by you."

Rolling her eyes she turned to look at his usual table. The weasely looking guy whose greasy hair was pulled back revealing the fact that he was starting to go bald sat with both of his arms in the table with an annoyed look on his face. The idea of being bored didn't sound so bad at all now. The man was rude, arrogant and he obviously didn't know what personal space was.

"Is it too late to tell him I'm out sick today?"

Laughing her fellow worker shook her head and nodded to the food Heather had been waiting for, for her other table. "I'll take care of table 2 you can deal with him."

"Oh great, thanks."

Grabbing a bowl of Bovelin soup that he always insisted on having the moment he sat down she reluctantly left the kitchen, which was more of a sanctuary for the moment. Reaching the Corelian she sat it down and not making eye contact looked over the data pad she held. "Your usual?" She could feel his beady little eyes scanning her body as she waited for his answer.

"Yes and my offer still holds." Rolling her eyes she didn't look up form the data pad, this guy just creaped her out too much. "Ah and my answer remains the same as well."

She couldn't believe that he kept at the fact of her going out with him it was just so yucky. Still looking at the data pad and entering in his usual order her minds eye thought of how fun it would be to gently tap the back of his head using the force causing him to go face first into the soup. Small joy filled her at the thought and part of her wanted to reach out and do it, but she didn't. She could already hear her old dead Master Telva's voice chiding her at even thinking it. "Your order will be ready soon."

Turning quickly on her heels she headed back to the sanctuary that smelled of grease.

A young blonde man entered the cantina and sat down at one of the few unnoccupied booths and picked up a menu. One of the waitresses came over to ask what he wanted to drink, and he simply request a glass of Blue Moon milk.

As she turned to leave, his eyes were already scanning the immeadiate area. Something had drawn him here. Something in the Force. He had thought that it might be one of his fellow Knights, but the Sith was wrong. Two weeks and nothing. The galaxy isn't that big.

As he waited, he still scanned the area, noticing a girl talking to a man. The girl was what some might consider pretty, but the one she was conversing with...well, Yurza had seen dewbacks that looked better.

The waitress brought his drink and he ordered a pair of Kyrat eggs. "Overeasy please."

"Sure thing there."

As she turned to leave, Yurza lifted the glass of milk to his lips, but couldn't help but glance over at the woman again. What's wrong with you. I know it has been awhile but she isn't your type.

Then a smile can over his features, one that looked warm and inviting, but also one that sent chills up ones spine. She's not unless I want her to be.

"Hmm....how about a redhead?" Yurza said as he gently reached out with the Force and shifted her features ever so slightly to his eyes. No one else would have noticed the change, except prehaps a Force user, but he doubted there was anyone near here.

Moving at a fast pace to get as far away from Kalus as she could when she felt something strange. At first she didn’t realize what it was since it had been sometime since she had felt anything using the perception it was in, but it was there, a slight blimp in the force. Eyes remaining forward she tried not to show any sign of shock at the realization that someone near by was using the force and not being all to careful about it. It could only mean that either a force hunter was here and was trying to see if anyone in the vicinity was a force user which wasn’t a good idea at all or some other force user was out there and not being to careful.

Not skipping a beat she entered the kitchen and turned to look at one of the few viewers they had on their patrons to catch any unlawful behavior. All who where there seemed normal that was for sure and none looked like a force hunter, but one just never knew. Sighing she shook her head and headed back out of the kitchen since the Cantina had gotten a whole lot more crowded in a short period of time and she still had a job to do.

Yurza smiled and shook his head as the woman went back into the kitchen. While the game was amusing, it could only entertain for so long. Once she was back outside the kitchen he had forgotten about her. Now he sat with his eggs in front of him. He moved his left arm slightly, knkocking off a bottle of some typ of sauce he was apprently supposed to put on his eggs. He quickly reached down to catch the bowl and managed to, but he had to use his telekinetics to catch the sauce from dropping on the floor. When he looked up, he noticed a small child looking at him in awe of what he had done and Yurza simply waved his had, blurring the child's memory and making him turn around.

He sat his sauce back on the table, closer to the wall this time and took another sip of his drink before grabbing a utensil and began to eat his meal before it got cold.

Gases from the ships system hissed out of the excess ports. Within the naboo craft, the pilot, a man in his early thirties sat in the pilot seat. Shutting some systems down preparing to exit the ship. The co-pilot chair swung back and forth, back and forth.....back and that's when his arm struck out to catch the headrest to stop it. Looking sideways at the little person smiling back at him, Ezra smirked and released the chair. "Just a few more seconds Alex, then we can go."

"Bugging you am I?" The girl asked as she sat slumped in the big chair. Ezra had to smile as he stood and went about gathering the needed money to purchase the supplies they needed as well as other things. Ezra was a Jedi living an alternate life as a currier. He was hired to deliver things, sometimes things not to be mentioned other times not. He was on the borderline of being a smuggler but mostly kept his nose clean to not attract attention. The hard part of it all was trying to keep from looking paranoid when he and Alexi ventured away from the Empress Marva. But it was hard when the remaining Jedi were still being hunted. There were those like himself that escaped the purge, as well as kept hidden away. And what kept him and his daughter hidden was the fact he kept them in plain sight.

And those are the most hard to find people....when they're right before your very eyes.

"A bit, yes...only your mother could irritate me with the simplest of things." Alexi smiled and giggled then got off the chair to walk up to Ezra and wrap her arms around his waist. "But I'm like you too...Mother said I have your Charm." The girl said emphasizing the word charm. As if implying something else which Ezra knew what it was. Giving a mock expression of shock, Ezra looked at his daughter and stopped what he was doing for a mere few seconds. " My charm? My charm has nothing to do with your beligerancy." Alexi crossed her arms and canted her head to the side with a coy look. "It has everything to do with it. I am my father's daughter."

Ezra hugged her to him. Leaning over a bit, he kissed the top of her head. "That you are Alex.... but you have alot of your mother as well."

The rogue Jedi scrunch his eyebrows as he sighed and thought back to several months back. The smiling face that greeted him when he woke. The woman who gave him an unconditional love as well as the gift of a child. Alexi still held her father as she looked up at him with knowing eyes. "You miss mommy..." Ezra looked down at her and smiled sadly. "Miss her alot, a little too much for my own good." Alexi nodded and hugged him tightly. "I miss her too." Then she looked up at him and smiled. "But I still have you daddy."

Ezra looked down at Alexi and ran a hand over her head. "We still have each other, that's right...now let's go shopping for supplies."

Alexi nodded and they both headed off ship and towards the main city.

.................................................. ................................................

Approaching the small diner, Alexi tapped Ezra on his arm and pointed to it. "I'm a bit hungry father." Ezra looked up at it and nodded, placing a hand on Alex's back he steered her to the doors and they both entered. Ezra felt a little uneasy entering here as he felt others similar to him through the force. Dark eyes narrowed a little as he pulled Alex protectively against him. Keep yourself in check, no force use. He told himself and whipsered for Alexi to do the same. The child nodded and reached a hand up to hold his arm.

She too looked about nervously and Ezra walked them to a table and sat down. Alexi seemed to have quickly forgotten the moment as she clasped her fingers together and smiled at her father. Which got the man smiling as well. "Remember our talk.... " Alexi nodded and gave an mmhmm as she looked aorund at the food coming and going. Ezra waited for thier waitress to come and serve them.

Moving about the now fastly moving cantina Heather rolled her eyes at herself ok why did part of her want to busier? Oh thats right she was bored. Not any more thats for sure and with Kalus here and someone near by casually using the force, causing her warning signals to flare every time they did it sure didnt help at all. Blue eyes kept scanning the cantina it felt close, whoever was using it that is, but who it was she had no clue. Her abilities where not in tuned enough to be able to easily point out anyone who could possibly be causing the small flares she felt in the force.

Feeling the hairs on the back of her neck go up as once more she felt someone use the force she pulled the force slower to herself trying to cut herself off so that she would be less able to find around other force users. It was the main lesson her old master had taught her make as little noise as possible and you would be safe.

"Hey sweet thing when's my food going to be ready"

The scratchy voice pulled her out of her own thoughts and she rolled her eyes over at Kalus, soon I hope she thought. The sooner that man had his food the sooner he'd leave and get out of her hair. "Soon Kauls soon. "

Not soon enough but soon pushing away thoughts of her wanting to force push him once more she kept walking.Walking to another table that had quickly become occupied she pulled out the simple datdpad that she used to record others orders and her blue eyes briefly scanned the two sitting in the booth, from the looks of it a father and his young daughter. "Welcome to the Star Point Cantina can I start you off with drinks or an appetizer "

As the words left her lips anyone could tell she had said these words a hundred times over and anymore just left her lips without her even thinking on it.

The girl looked up at the pretty waitress and smiled. Swinging her legs under the table, Alexi thought about what she wanted. It had to be something sweet, and something good. Which was why breakfast was her favorite meal of the day.

"I will have.... griddle cakes with lots of syrup and pan fries please."

Alexi was always courteous and thrived on manners in public. Her mother had taught her well. And it made her father proud of her when she displayed herself in such a way.

"And a glass of juice too please."

There, all ordered up and only have to wait for the food to arrive. She could already taste the sweet and thick syrup over the fluffy cakes. Looking up at her father, Alexi waited for him to order as well.

The dark eyes of her father watched her as she showed very well mannerisms. Reminded him of the woman he lost not so long ago. And leave it to his daughter to order breakfast when it was after lunch. That made him smirk.

Glancing at the menu, Ezra looked and chose quickly.

"For me, brazed ornto and a glass of water....Thank you."

Ezra waited till the aitress left to place the orders with the cook, and leaned forward. "You feel it don't you?" He asked his daughter as he glanced at the waitress....asking of the feeling that the force was stronger in that woman...if Alexi felt it as he did.

The confirming nod was all he needed. Settling back into the seat, Ezra watched he young woman closely. Did she know? Or was she oblivious to the power and talent she could harness.

Smiling at the small girl Heather made note of her order and couldn't help but laugh at the reaction of there chief. He loved to complain every time someone ordered breakfast after a certain time and she never could figure out that if he hated it so much why didn't they stop serving breakfast after noon? That would make to much sense though wouldn't it? Turning to who had to be the girl's father she wrote down his order as well. "You'll get your order shortly."

Walking past Kalus she tried to ignore him as he made one more of his ever so clever comments about the look of her uniform. Rolling her eyes she headed back to the kitchen. Handing the order to the chief he looked at it and grunted shrugging her shoulders she smiled at him "If you hate it so much why not change the menus?" All she got from him was another grunt and a plate shoved into her hands. Looking down at the plate she sighed at seeing how the food was situated so nothing was touching. The thought of going back out there and having to go to his table wasn't something she really wanted to do, but she knew that she had to. Seeing the smirk on the chief's face she rolled her eyes once more and turned to bring the food to Kalus.

Leaving the kitchen she quickly moved up to the table and placed the hot plate down avoiding eye contact at all cost. She felt it before he moved as his hand went out t touch her and she by impulse quickly stepped back and out of reach. She saw the annoyance in his eyes and smiled to herself as she turned to leave and felt him move once more. "Knife is dirty get me a new one."

Turning she saw a flash of silver as he threw it towards her. Without thinking of the consequences nor the danger of using the force a the moment she found herself reaching out slowing it ever so slightly and changing its trajectory so that it landed softly and with the hilt in the palm of her hand. Or well that's how it should have gone if she hadn't been so rusty in it. It appeared to everyone else that she had easily caught it with the hilt, but a small part of the blade did in fact make contact with her palm and a small line of red streaked her palm. Keeping cool she looked back at him and nodded "Be right back with a clean one sir."

The display of the man at the other table made his daughter narrow her eyes. It even brought the attention of Ezra. The girl showed quite good restraint in defending herself. In fact she surprised him and took it in stride.

It was her catching of the blade that caught his attention. It was one of them surprise throws that one shouldn't have seen. But somehow she did.

And to make it more interesting was that she caught the blade at all. Made no normal reaction to it as ducking or stepping out of the way. Confirmation to him that she knew what she was and how to use it.

Ezra sat back and rubbed his thumb thoughtfully over his chin. His daughter doing the same. Mimicing his moves.

The small fighter called the "Nebula Horizon" slowly made it's way to the landings near the local cantina. Now a busy hub, the cantina seemed to glow as the inner lights seemed to pierce through the early morning dark. After a cloud of dust settled a Rodian foot hit the ground.
Dhak turned a 360 to check the area and slowly walked into the cantina. The smell of krayt eggs and grease filled the room. He couldn't believe it, but this is where his months of tracking had led him, some stinking cantina filled with low-lifes. Especially one nasty looking fellow who's age was catching up with him.
How could a former Jedi be in here. With all this scum. As a kid, the image of a Jedi was a victorious warrior wielding a laser sword and magic powers. Not some greasy pig.

She quickly headed back to the kitchen she scolded herself for what she had just done. She had shocked Kalus with what she had done she could tell that she had by the look on his face. She had never done anything like that in the cantina before and there a reason why she hadn't because it was beyond stupid for her to do such a thing. What was she thinking? Her training was better then that she couldn't risk being found out she wasn't a Jedi not by a long shot if she was found it she hardly figured she could protect herself. It made all of Tevla's teachings everything she had done for Heather nothing. Cursing under her breath she ignored the glances she received from the others in the kitchen and threw the knife with the rest of the dirty dishes as she headed back to the restrooms.

Once in there she quickly locked the door to keep all others out and looked down at her palm there was indeed a small streak of blood across her palm. Highly doubting that it was deep since she felt little pain from it she moved to a sink and ran warm water over it the small cut stinging with the touch of the water. Frowning at the red streak across her palm she closed it and debated if she should do what she was thinking of doing. Why not? You've already used the force once might as well go and use it again.

Closing her eyes she focused all her will on the cut willing the red blood cells clogulate and close the wound. After a moment her eyes reopened and inspected her work, it wasn't fully healed but a small scab now appeared where the cut had been better then nothing really. Looking up and at her reflection in the small mirror she sighed and brushed aside a few stray hairs and headed out. The moment she was out the other waitress cam up to her. "Are you alright? I got Kalus a clean knife for you no reason you had to go out and deal with that jerk again."

Nodding her head she smiled at the girl "thanks." Moving past her she noticed that one of her tables food was ready grabbing the plates while carefully keeping the cut on her hand hidden she headed back out to the table that the father and daughter was at.
