MTV Movie Awards

I know these are mainly a joke but did anyone watch them? There were some fun skits including a great Batman opener and a mostly amusing take on the Padme & Anakin confrontation on Mustafar.

Of course being voted on by the public a lot of the more popular types won multiple awards including Jon Heder taking best male lead, best dance moves and best movie for Napolean Dynamite.

Next year though...I'm gonna have to vote, no way can Anakin/Vader or possibly Palpatine not win best Villian!

Agreed...I'd have to imagine there will be nominations for Best Fight and Best Action Sequence as well.

The MTV Movie Awards are a farce, but they can be fun sometimes. I'll try to catch a rerun, because I'd like the see the Anakin/Padme Mustafar spoof you mentioned.

Its worth it, Jimmy Fallon does Anakin and its pretty funny.

Just caught a rerun of the awards a few minutes ago, and yes, the ROTS spoof was surprisingly amusing. Well worth taking the time to see, so thanks for the tip. :)

The opening Batman Begins spoof was pretty good too.
