She poked at the glass wall in front of her, and snapped, "Hjim, rrrjight therrre. He's cheatjing. No one taps the corrrnerrrs of thejirrr carrrds that much."

The pit boss, charigned at being called into Reeouurra's office, peered over her shoulder, and nodded. "Yep, looks to be a skifter. I'll -"

"Get hjim out of herrre." Sasseeri growled, her half-breed accent obscuring her Basic. "jIf he shows up agajin, you know what to do."

An hour later, Sasseeri was still staring out from behind the pane of glass that comprised one wall of her office. From the other side, it appeared to be a tiled mirror, complete with designs etched into the glass. It was very expensive.

Her high heeled shoes were off, and she had her petite feet propped up on her desk. Her office hours were long over, but she loved to watch the foolish gamble away their savings. That, and she was up to her tufted ears in paperwork for the 350 credits a head fundraiser she was planning for the Alderaanian Refugees Foundation.

It was going to be a fantastic party, and it was going to be held here, in her most favorite casino. Located at the highest pinnacle in the Taapes district, the Nabooian Queen enjoyed fantastic views of the faraway Imperial Palace, and was surrounded by expensive, high rise apartments.

Her own penthouse suite was in a 'scraper next to the Queen, almost as high up as the Casino, but not quite. She had the brilliant view of the transparisteel dome of the Nabooian Queen every sunrise and sunset, glittering like a fantastic jewel.

Growling, Sasseeri shoved a stack of paperwork off the desk and onto the floor, and then threw a stack of datapads to join them for good measure. "Frrrelljing Sorrrsha!" The scheming woman was probably already attempting to undermine Sasseeri in the eyes of the lesser Vigos. After the impressive destruction of Prince Xizor's skyhook the two females had been at each other's throats.

Sasseeri Reeouurra, Vigo of Black Sun, tossed a datapad at the glass wall. It bonked almost soundlessly, and fell to the floor. The mirrored wall was designed to be indestructable, a trait that came in handy during the half-breed Cizerack's frequent, private, temper tantrums.

The next day, she was slinking around the casino, her impossibly tailored suit clinging to her every move. Patrons eyed her appreciatively, but she had no time for games. "Get me a meetjing wjith hjim, jI don't carrre what strrrjings you have to pull. Orrr gjive me a hangarrr numberrr wherrre jI can fjind hjim!"

Sanis Prent, a smuggler/bounty hunter of small repute, had become a blip on the radar of Sorsha Kasajian. The other female dealt with weapons and explosives and civil wars, where Sasseeri worked around casinos and spice. Their interests rarely collided, except for when a prime smuggler became available.

Kal Olorin, her some-time assistant, lengthened his stride to keep up with the shorter female. "All the information I could come up with says he's -" he lowered his voice as they passed a sabaac table, "he's working for the Hutts. They don't like to give up good help."

Sasseeri's eyes flashed, "jI wjill have hjim worrrkjing forrr me beforrre that wjitch Kasajian gets herrr claws jin hjim. Next tjime he's on Corrruscant, you get my that hangarrr numberrr."

"Hangar number, you got it boss." He was staring at a female patron who was bending over a gaming table with a very short skirt on. Sasseeri stomped on his foot. Olorin jumped, and added, "We'll have the information before his ship's cooled down."

Sasseeri purred contentment, and pulled his head down for a kiss. "Good. Now, leave me alone." She patted his cheek and then gave it a little slap. "jI'll see you tonjight."

Dragging her fingernails down his face, she pushed him away, and stalked into her office, tail looped over the crook of her arm. There was a shipment coming in that night, and she wanted to monitor it every step of the way. After a recent deal she'd brokered with an influential Hutt, she was receiving her first shipment of Liquid Silver, and nothing could go wrong with it.
