Ok, well the Imperials are recruiting, and so will we.

I need people to fly with me in Rogue Squadron. Advantages are that our ships look cooler, have hyperspace, more weapons, and environmental systems inside, so you can do your makeup and whatever when you're not killing bucketheads!

I'd think after the battle of Endor, the Rebellion would be hurting for small fighters, so I don't think it's be restricted to JUST X-Wings. But that's up to the one who started the recruiting. :)

As for me, I'm a traditionalist when it comes to the Rogues, so I'll be sticking to an X-Wing. :)

If I recall, the rogues would use plenty of other ships when the need was there. The X-Wings were just the staple.

Once we have all the spots filled (or before) we should figure out ranks and what have you. There should only be one commander and one (or is it two) captains. I know a few Leiutenants... but I don't know about the rest. I'd have to look at my X-Wing books to figure out what all else would fit in...

As a side note, will all of us be flying X-Wings cause i've been here for a while and my character's background is a pilot who defected from the Imperial 181st with his Interceptor which he modified. So yeah if we decide to go all X-Wings thats ok, please just tell me.

Well, I know we're not all going X-Wings. Mili and Eluna have A-Wing's while myself and Biff have X-Wings. I think the majority will be X-Wings.

But for the most part, I think we'll be sticking to Rebel ships, though don't quote me on that. :)

well at this point you have IFF beacons which show you who is friendly and who isnt, besides it'll be interesting for myself to have a couple of close encounters with a few turbolaser crews who get a bit too enthusiastic.

IFF beacons are one thing, but when a fighter does a snap turn into another's visual arc and a pilot is gunning by eyeball, IFF doesn't mean a thing.

It's one thing to fly TIEs in covert missions, and an entirely different thing in what amounts to a conventional assault.

You can join Rogue Squadron, but for our sanity leave the TIE in the garage until we've got sneaking to do.

We have two slots and you're welcome to join Rogue Squadron. However, no one has time to check IFF in a full dogfight frenzy. On other missions? Maybe. But for this I'd ride an A-Wing.
