For those people who drink orange juice, I just wanna know. How many like pulp? And how many don't like pulp? See, now to me, the more pulp the better. Possibly a tottally useless question, but isn't that what OOC forums are for? lol, Well...let's get some answers!

Depends what I'm in the mood for. I like pulp in the morning, with my breakfast. But sometimes I like the artificial taste of concentrate.

To me, there is nothing like tasting the pulp. It's like somebody just squeezed it for you. Makes me feel loved...lol...I'm sad.

No pulp for me. I don't want to drink something and have to pick my teeth later.

I'm a pulp-a-holic. Just chop up oranges and throw them in the carton for all I care. I want to know I'm having something real rather than something artificial.

I'm mixed about it as well. The pulp, while bother some and icky when you see it sort of all clumped together at the bottom of the glass, is as real as it gets. And I love real orange juice.

No pulp for me, thank you. Makes screwdrivers much less enjoyable.

Um, I guess the real stuff without the giblets. So that'd be strained orange juice?

I prefer light pulp. Just enough so you know it's at least partly real without the need to pick your teeth afterwards.

For instance, if I'm eating eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, etc. etc. I enjoy pulp. But for average drinking, no pulp please.

I've never really thought about it. Most of my orange juice I buy has been without pulp, but that's mostly just because it's the first thing I pull off the shelf, rather than a personal preference.

Ditto. Minute Maid puts labels on--"Low Pulp," "Original," "High Pulp," "Extra Pulp"--and I'm cool w/ the first two.

The only way pulp is acceptible in my juice is when I am either eating an orange, or coring & juicing an orange with a pocket knife.

The latter is the most delicious way to eat/drink an orange ever. Especially if you put a few cinnamon candies inside :D

Garlic salt on pork chops is great. Garlic salt on most anything is great.
not addicted to garlic salt.

Morg - can you bring some Kennesaw to GoonCon? I''ll give it a try if you can :)

Garlic in general is great. I use it in nearly everything I cook.

Since I mix my liquid vitamin with my juice, I prefer no pulp. Pulp makes me go "eihhk... mnia, mnia, mnia." err something.

garlic = mmm.

(I'm very tired! I couldn't think of big words to replace sounds!)

I hate pulp. I can withstand a little pulp but if there is a ton I won't drink it.

Garlic salt just doesn't beat the real thing.......and as for pulp in OJ, I prefer no pulp, but will drink Original orange juice.

Now the true question is: what's the best brand? Where I live, it's Minute Maid, then Tropicana.

The concept alone weirded me out too much to even try it......

Plus, the things are frickin' expensive! What if I try it and it sucks? I lose cash!

But I'm telling you, those chocolate oranges are THE BEST.

everymorning, I wake up ten minutes early to sit there and strain the pulp from the homemade orange juice that mi honbre Andreas squeezes for me in the backyard.

Out of curiosity, but would extra pulp be just as artificial as no pulp? I've always been under the impression that no pulp orange juice was just pulp orange juice that was ran through a colander or something.
