I grew up watching Johnny Carson, and even to this day I still think he was one of the funniest men ever.

RIP, Johnny, thanks for all the laughs

That is very sad he was the greatest late night host ever. One of the best TV personalities ever, IMO.

He left the Tonight show over a decade ago and you never saw him hanging around trying to keep his face in the limelight. His exit was as classy as his career. R.I.P. Johnny.

Wow - just saw that when I logged on this morning. What a shame, but at least it was peaceful and with family. He was undisputedly the best. Even now, while I enjoy some of the late night humor out there, none of it can come close to Johnny...
