"How we're doing" is a question not to ask Mark. I'm okay, I begin a nice shiney job for more money and a permanent position at AAPT, the stinkhole that was the abyss called Hewlett Packard is as of this week behind me. It is a ruinious place and I hated it. Do not work there, ever. I went to Thailand for work and as luck would have it I got food poisioning, but was well looked after. Mark apparently was pretty frantic. I also got out of there about 48 hours before the Tsunami's hit.

Add to a sick wife and the fact he unexpectantly had to organise Christmas for us, the black cat he posted a few times swallowed a chicken bone and it pierced his throat. It's lucky Stiggy is big becuase it would have killed any other less tough cat. He's okay now. Mark wasn't too happy at the time.

What else? One of my grandmother's died. Expected. She was 87.

Oh yes and to add to Mark's woes, while I was away again to Melbourne, he upended a bucket of hot water on his foot and went to hospital.

So in summary, I've had a good time lately - apart from Grandmother, but we chose to celebrate her life, not mourn her passing so that wasnt that sad - Mark's had a four lettered of a time.

Egads. Well, um, glad to hear everything's ok with you, and I hope things look up for Mark. (And glad to hear kitty is doing well too.) :)
