Slayn Cloak
Dec 27th, 2003, 01:25:26 AM
Time was something Slayn had never put much stock in, but it was always something he had plenty of. He had stopped off on Coruscant to switch ships; He would need something a little more versatile if he was going to find Gav. Slayn made his way down the substreets, the kind of places you can go when you don't want to be found, or followed. He was slowly and subtlety making his way to one of the public spaceports.

Upon his arriving he was greeted by a port official. He was a Twilek male; A real shady looking fellow at that. This port could have been one of many owned and operated by smugglers. Shortly after the Twilek had approached him, a large Gammorean stepped out from a doorway on the right. The Twilek spoke to Slayn, while the pig nervously fingered his blaster.

"What can we help you with?"

He asked in a tone that was less than desirable. Slayn didn't want this to get ugly, not with all the Jedi about. He could feel them everywhere since he left Sharia, and he couldn't have them interfere with his plans. He feared he might have to kill someone he cared for if that was the case.

"I'm fine thank you. I don't need your help, and you will ignore me."

Slayn spoke the words all the while toying with there heads. Forcing them to belive he belonged there. The Twilek looked confused for a minute, but the pig just grunted and made haste walking away. As Slayn entered the first level of the building he felt something odd but couldn't tell what it was.

After passing through the first corridor and taking a very long hallway to the right, Slayn found himself in some kind of loading bay. It was by far the largest he had ever seen, and it was filled with containers, the kind that could be carried by cargo ships. He felt something odd again, the same feeling he felt when he entered the building. He wanted to ignore it, but was overwhelmed; Compelled to open a container. As he made his way toward a group of six containers in particular, a great howl came from both sides.

On his left and right where Gammoreans, one on each. Before Slayn could even think he had begun to twist his body. Spinning to the right, his right arm had already stretched out as if swinging a blade; Simultaneously Eternity had come off his belt and made its way to his right hand. As his body came full circle, the magical saber ignited, and the pig on the right was silenced; His body halved at the waist. Before the upper half of the Gammorean had hit the floor, Slayn shot his left hand out in front of him, and with it the intestines of the dismembered pig flew. They wrapped around the surviving Gammorean and squeezed; In a few moments this one too was dead.

"... Great..."

The dark Jedi spoke out of frustration, he had wanted to be discreet. Now he risked some ambitious Jedi meddling; But there where more intriguing things at hand...

Slayn thought it was rather odd that the containers weren't locked. With a press of a button the seal was broken and the door slowly opened. His eyes narrowed as the contents began to come into focus, they were women, nearly all Twilek's, the rest where Cathar, and some of a species Slayn didn't recognize. There where ruffly fifty, which would make three-hundred assuming the other containers where filled as well.

Navaria Tarkin

Coruscant had only been known to her for a little over a three days now, and still it was unfamiliar. The amnesia was still veiling everything about the person that was known as Jedi Knight Navaria Tarkin. The title and name alone still was clouded and took it upon faith that was her true self. Afterall, why would the Jedi lie? She couldn't be this other being that she had found in the database... A Dark Jedi by the name of Dalethria Mal Pannis? She didn't feel that there was any evil inside of her, but evil never truly reveals itself so easily... does it?

So, to better her chances of regaining some memories, Navaria had taken to walking the strees during the day, and staying near the Jedi at night. Something would have to give eventually... She was just impatient for it to happen. Here was hoping that today was the day...

Only two steps had been taken by her when she gasped loudly in shock and whispered...

"Who?"

A presence had hit her that was so familiar too her that it stirred her very soul. Never had a sensation like that been felt since she awakened confused, disorientated and completely devoid of memory on the planet of Bakura.

Elation overcame Navaria so quickly that her head began to feel so light and staggered down the next few steps, causing concerned glances from the nearby Jedi. It didn't matter to her what appearances she projected, all she wanted to know was who could make her feel this way and where was this being!

It hit him like that, it forced him to inhale, a deep cool breath that somehow burned his insides. The dark Jedi's eyes dilated, his pupils became twice they're normal size. A deep black circled by a crimson ring. Everything blurred, his senses crazed; However, one thing was very clear.

"Navaria?!"

He began to calm himself, this push came from her; Was she looking for him? It was so forceful, nothing like the Navaria Slayn had cared for in the past.

The young Cloak was now bent over the container's door, the slave women jostling about in the container. They must had been captive for some time; They had learned better than to try and escape.

After composing himself a bit, Slayn closed his eyes and called for her, he could feel her, she was close. Very close in fact, but changed, scarred and confused; What had happened to her?

The being answered back! But it was more then that... He knew her and Navaria was indeed her name for it was echoed back in such stunned surprised.

Her feet continued to lead her foward without thought, for she was distracted by the luring call of this man.

She knew who this was! Every fiber of her being was telling her this but nothing more. It was disheartening to feel such closeness! A revelation had dropped into her lap and nothing more then a sense of belonging was her reward. She had to find him, and quickly. Nothing had been so familiar with the Jedi, no names, no faces or even the supposed comfort of being in her quarters could produced one shread of true thought.

But whoever was calling her had and Navaria answered as well, strengthening whatever bond had been created ten folds and put words into feelings previous.

Where are you?

Slayn could feel her emotions as if they were his own, she was so happy, but still strangely dissonant. It was odd, and in fact, Slayn felt this exact way a great deal of the time, but because of this he was greatly excited.

" You can feel me, you know where I am. I'm here, I will wait for you; Come to me."

He easily put his thoughts into her mind, she would have no problem finding him. The desire he could feel from her was to great; Now more than ever the other Jedi were a liability.

The being was still nameless to her, but the incredible need to see her was just as strong as her own. But there was a problem. Strain was starting to show lines in her face. Navaria was still suffering from the effects of whatever encounter caused her amnesia in the first place. Sometimes, it was hard to control others thoughts that were around her.

I can feel you ... but, there are too many minds. It .. hurts..

He could hear her voice crack with pain in his mind.

Tell me, where you are. It would be easier.

Kelt Simoson
Dec 31st, 2003, 03:44:31 AM
He had felt it within the force before, it felt as if something that stung the back the eyes as if straining to hard and your eyes began to tickle at the back of your retina. For the figure at least. Death had been delt it it was easy to tell from where also, a longing sensation built inside the figures body, hooded and cloaked in a dark green cloak, a loniging to be within the cargo decks. he went to the desk, explained who he was and the staff let him pass through, it was as easy as that, perticuly for a person of his stature.

Sure enough he was right, the corpses were found within moments of entering, the figure told the staff the stay back, and they did so.

One of the pigs bodies was rolled over, the halfed one. It did not take a genius to evaluate this was no loading bay accident. It was murder. The slices through the pigs body was deady strait and perfectly accurate, a lightsaber, a darksiders touch.

The hooded figure looked up to view the other deceased gaurd, intestines had been thickly wrapped around the pigs neck and suffercated within seconds, a horrible way to go, the pig had paid the highest price for dealing with a darksider, a grusome death. The figure pressed fingers and thumb against both pigs eyes and closed there eyelids shut, a finalization to their short lived lives.

The hooded and cloaked figure got up, moved quickly to a cargo crate anything from 10 times the size of himself and peeked around the edge of the container, he had within moments found the culprate, whoever he was he was connected to the force, the figure could feel it, searching, seaching for somone...calling. But to whome?

More of his kin perhaps?

The figure ripped back his hood to reveal light brown shaggy hair and a curious face, it was Kelt Simoson, Jedi Knight. he would wait hidden, signature as low beat as possible and watch him and possibly whomeever he would be calling to. His hand fermly pressed to his saber, the mistly blue blade of Harunde.

The pulse through the Force was enough to knock a Bantha over and it was that same feeling that drew her here this day. Moving with stealth-like attributes, a figure clad in flowing black robes and a hooded cloak made her way along the inside barrier wall of the docking bay. No one was in sight, as the security as well as desk workers had fled the scene just moments before. No sound filled the large area, save for the distant heartbeats of several individuals -- which of course, the Garou's sensitive ears picked up immediatly.

With light step she made her way to another large room where hundreds of canisters rested as well as other freight. There were pallets stacked as tall, if not taller than she, as well as other strange objects covered in white sheets. "What is this?" She thought to herself and then felt it again -- a series of most familiar presences. Quieting her mind, the Lost Jedi Knight felt several pulses once again, all nagging at her perception. It was then she realized the simple identity of those in the room with her. "Two Jedi and -- a strange Darksider -- so familiar somehow."

Taking a step forward and breathing as quietly as possible, her eyes moved over several figures until they came to rest upon a dark one crouched slightly out of view. This one, she gathered through the feeling she got through the Force, was a Jedi. The Darksider and other Jedi remained unseen -- but the Garou Knight knew that she had to take no chances of getting caught by any member of the GJO, if in fact, they were members at all. She didn't go to jail in the first place and she would never be going there, at least, she vowed that to herself. Moving back into the shadows, Xazor leaned against the wall and allowed her eyes to lock on the room before her so that the situation could play itself out. "Today shall prove very interesting indeed."

Estelle awoke, her head feeling heavy and full of cotton as she swung her legs over the edge of the couch to plonk with a thud on the floor of her apartment.

She pushed herself up with effort, and crossed to the refridgeration unit to get herself a chlled glass of orange juice. It was the only thing that seemed to clear her senses after the dreams.

She was recognizing them, when they came, now. Or more correctly, when she woke from them.

This was the third one of Navaria now, and the first to make any coherent sense. Recognizing the dreams, and understanding them were not the same thing, she conceded.

Tipping back her head to let the last of the juice in the glass trickle to her throat, Estelle's fog-headedness was replaced with an unsettling and foreboding uneasiness as she made her way back to sit on the sofa. Her room was quiet, calm. A haven. Yet there was draped about Estelle a wrap of impending danger.

Navaria was in trouble.

It was not the kind where physical harm was prominent, not if her "dream" was to be believed. It was more...spiritual. Yes, Estelle thought, that was the word for it.

Eyes forward but not really seeing what she was looking at, the Jedi brought again to her mind the events in her dream as she could recall them, gleaning as much detail as possible, making notes on things that struck her as significant..

Slayn could feel the pain in Navaria's mind, it in fact began to effect his. This disturbed the prince to a great degree. This just wont do... He thought to himself as his connection to her became murky. This trip was becoming abruptly capricious. This however, wasn't his only problem, the Dark Jedi had felt something, something odd.

He glanced back over his shoulder toward some crates, he could swear he saw someone. If they made a move he would be more than prepared; At present they would just remain a liability.

Slayn turned his attention back to what had now become his priority, Navaria. She seemed so confused, unsettled and angry. He had to draw her here, losing her wasn't an option. He took in a deep breath, and as he inhaled Slayn amplified his thoughts. Showing Navaria exactly where he was, and reaching out to those who trespassed inside her head. She began to notice people around her collapsing, or grasping their head, complaining of pain, or disorientation. Slayn then spoke in her mind his voice desperate, and serious.

" Navaria hurry, I will help you, come back to me. make great haste, I have your answers..."

Suddenly her thoughts became razor sharp and endlessly clear. She straightened herself upright, not caring about the beings around her in anguish. All that mattered to her, the only priority, was to find him. His name was still elusive to Navaria even with the renewed silence inside her mind. This baffled her as she started running quickly through the streets of Coruscant, following his urgent calls that continued to leave a trail of helpless victims falling to the ground, clutching their heads in pain.

At some point the buildings started to become familiar, only because she too had been her only a week prior. The spaceport was a bustle of activity but still his call was ever clear. Renewed by the prospect of knowing who she was, Navaria made quick haste to the docks where he was leading her...

The detail that seemed to strike Estelle the most from her dream was all the doors.

Navaria was standing, alone, in a dark room. It was not square as rooms usually are, but round, or more acurately, octagonal. It was lined about with doors - most of them closed tightly, but the occasional one was open just a crack letting in diffuse, weak light.

Navaria turned in circles where she stood, examining the doors in dismay. Just as one of the ones that was partially opened caught her focus, there would be a shift in her concentration and she would move to the next. Still standing, turning in place where she was and making no real progress, the Jedi's image began to falter and fade as if she was, in essence, vanishing. The fear and confusion on Navaria's face in Estelle's dream was heart breaking.

Endless circles she turned until one door, one of the opened ones, moved to open wider. The light that was released from with in it was a false light - it's center was dark and untennable - but it was rimmed in an alluring glow which grew stronger and stronger the longer Navaria looked at it. In the dream, Navaria stepped toward the ever widening doorway.

Estelle gasped with fear for what the dream might mean.

She was close, Slayn cloud feel her, taste her very breath on his lips. The Dark Jedi raged with excitement; the prospect of seeing Navaria was always welcome and more so in her present state… It would certainly afford him an interesting opportunity. Just then he felt something, only for a second, but it couldn’t be ignored. He hadn’t been so presumptuous as to believe other Jedi hadn’t felt the disturbance, much less with his cleansing of the minds around Navaria. His senses were on fire and still, he couldn’t spot them; He would mindfully shrug them off for now… Letting them believe there presence went unnoticed.

She rounded a corner, quickly, almost out of breath. Beads of sweat had pooled upon her forehead, threatening to fall down at any moment. Her eyes were frantic, searching wildly for Slayn. His mind was becoming so perfectly clear that Navaria had to be close to dock where he was located.

Excitement was begining to boil over inside, anticipation had caught her breath and she was forced to exhale when she felt him truly. He was near, only meters away and quickly she took off in a run... straight towards Slayn...

The risk involved here was obvious. Slayn had gone from cautious to widely unreasonable, but it would be worth it. He could vividly remember her smell, and would never forget her smile. Navaria's presence was absolutely intoxicating, clouding the Dark Jedi's judgment; Just as it had when he received her care. Lost in thought of individual right and wrong, Navaria's state of being, and the opportunity that might afford.

" eh...? sigh. "

And there she was, scared and hopeful. Absolutely brimming with possibility; For the first time maybe open to the many she could control. As Slayn processed the vary last of his thoughts, he could do little more than open his arms to her. He did so and hurried to meet her, sprinting up to her. He embraced her with his arms, while holding her he spoke with great sincerity. His soft spoken words leaving his lips, he whispered in her ear:

" I'm so very glad you're ok... "

As Xazor sat watching the situation unfold before her, she began to realize what was going on. Through much gossip, the Jedi Knight had been told of her dear friend, Navaria, and all of the trouble she had been going through. It broke the woman's heart to know of the struggle that her fellow Jedi was experiencing, having gone through it her self.

Suddenly Navaria was rushing toward the Darksider, and instead of turning from him, she was falling into his arms. "Navaria!" Xazor rose to her feet from her crouched position and shouted, accidentally giving away her cover. She had not meant to be noticed, and in fact, saying the other woman's name was purly by accident.

The Garou's face flushed red as she attempted to hide herself behind a large crate, but it was no use as now all of the attention was brought to her through stupidity. "Way to go, ace!" She scolded herself mentally as her heart pounded with anticipation. With the Jedi that were there, and even the Dark One, so many things could go down. The last thing she wanted was to be caught, again.

Estelle paced her room, knowing action was required, but not knowing what action exactly.

Her trepidation that Navaria was at grave risk was only heightened by her own inability to prevent it.

She had no direct link to her fellow Jedi, no close association that would help her touch her mind gently and call Navaria a warning.

Call a warning...

Estelle stopped midstep and her eyes locked on the communicator unit on her bedside table.

Call...

Crossing into the next room hurriedly, Estelle pressed a button on the unit, connecting her with the main interchange.

"Page me through to Navaria Tarkins personal comm. Immediately. Yes, this is Estelle Russard -- do as I tell you. Thats right, Navaria Tarkin"

Anxious seconds passed as the beep echoed time and again on Navs comm, the innocuous sound insistent and determined.

"Theres no answer" interjected a sterile droid voice.

"Keep trying" was Estelles curt reply.

She hugged him closer to soak up his familiarity, in shock that this was happening. Navaria giggled unexpectantly as she buried her face into Slayn's shoulder, recognizing his scent, and sighed as his words barely touched her ears.

"I'm not completely okay as you know, but..." She pulled back to look at Slayn's face, fixing his hair that had become misplaced, "... I think I'm..." She was cut off at the sound of a woman's voice, one that Navaria did not recall. Anger was beginning to take hold that someone was here and interrupting her and Slayn!

"Who dares?!" Her eyes frantically scanned the area as her mind reached out with the force to find this individual, unaware that her comm unit was going off inside the pocket of her robe.

Xazor cursed herself once again as she felt Navaria's anger flare up inside of her. "No! It isn't supposed to happen this way!" The Garou thought as she moved into the light once again. "It is I, Xazor -- don't you remember me?" The Knight called out to Navaria, hoping to get some response. Nothing came and she sighed.

It was quite a risk for her to be stepping out like this with the knowledge that any Jedi from the Order could legally take her into custody and turn her over to the NR. "You were a mentor to me so long ago -- you helped me in times of difficulty in my life." She spoke gently, advancing slightly toward the pair. "You were -- a friend to me." The words touched the other Jedi's ears gently.

Pausing in step, the young woman stood with her eyes fixed upon Navaria's face, recalling days when she had spent hours attempting to fix the problems in her life. They had gone through a lot together, and now it all seemed lost. "You gave me hope when I had none. Surly you must know who I am -- remember? Xazor Dawnstrider?"

Slayn felt the greatest of pleasures; holding her like this was... desirable . He didn't pay much attention to the communicator, but remembered Xazor. This provoked a statement from the young prince.

" She speaks the truth, she's too pure to ever lie to you."

His fingertips traced down her ear, then he slid his palm across her cheek.

" She's not the only interloper present, you can be certain we're not alone."

Slayn then gestured to Xazor lifting his hand, and probing her mind.

"...Even you it seems aren't welcome here Xazor; Perhaps you should join us? It's of no consequence to me, you could fair just as well with the Jedi, I suppose..."

He turned his attention back to Navaria and spoke again.

" We should leave, the air here is getting a little too thin for my liking; We can catch up once we're alone... and you're safe."

"Try again"

Estelle was curt in her command - unusual for her. The Jedi Master could not shake a feeling of desperation. She had left her apartment and was now climbing into a silver speeder, the personal comm held tightly in one fist.

She didn't know where she was even going as she reveresed out of the GJO hangar and into the frantic streets of Coruscant. She was just moving. Doing. Her frustration at Navaria not answering her communicator mounted.

Still no answer.

"No - I would not like to call back later. Try again"

Xazor nodded and jumped out from her place of hiding. With a few short leaps, the Jedi Knight joined the pair at the center of attention and faced Slayn. She had seen him several times in the past, and even recalled speaking with him once -- she had no idea what his motive here was, though. Her eyes fell on Navaria's face and she smiled sadly. "I will join you, but only because I seek to protect Navaria -- if you need help, I will be there too." The words left Xazor's lips lightly as she glanced back at the room.

"Wherever you go, there shall I go also. You have a friend and protector in me, Slayn -- so long as you vow not to harm my friend."

Navaria didn't know if she should believe the words that this Xazor had spoken. The fact that this woman was a Jedi made her think that perhaps that could be associates of one another, but still there was no flicker of recognition.

She turned to Slayn for guidance, smiling at his gentle touch and the feeling of security he emanated. "Yes, we should go." Xazor saw Navaria glancing out of the corner of her, annoyed that the Knight would be coming with them. There was still no hint that the real Navaria was behind that scornful gaze."I trust your judgement about this one, Slayn. But," Navaria turned to face Xazor fully, the anger that the Knight felt from her friend earlier escalating steadily,"You play any tricks, Knight, you will have more then just Slayn to worry about."

The three of them stood silent after that exchange, long enough for Navaria to finally hear her personal comm chiming for her attention. She vaguely remembered hearing awhile ago and went to reach for it.

Slayn had no intentions of letting this feeling, or opportunity fade. He held her closer, it would feel to her as if he would never let her go; These warm feelings mocked by the heat of their bodies being pressed against each other.

" I swear to you Navaria, nothing will hurt you again."

His words where sincere, but somehow curt... Slayn's crimson eyes where warm and compassionate, but where fixed on the communicator at her side.

A Derelict SSD

Pain, pain, nothing but pain filled his mind and his body. It was an experience unknown to him. But he knew it as pain as he lay there contemplating about how he had gotten into this situation. This hurt of his, this unknown feeling that was known. Why could he not remember?

He gasped and screamed and thrashed about him but to no avail. The pain would not go away and it felt like no air was filling his lungs, even as he tried so hard to breathe. He tried to calm down, clear his mind of the pain, the hurt, the sheer agony. He needed to think, he had to find some way to escape his anguish. This state of mind would not allow clear logical thought. A neccesity at this point.

Several inexorable moments pass before his mind begins to fully tune out the agony. Slowly the pain began to lessen and disappear as he relaxed, focusing on the pulses his nerves were sending to his mind. The darkness began to vanish around him and soon he found himself alone in a dark cargo room. Naked and in a fetal position, he gasped and coughed several more times before his vision cleared. He shook his head and struggled to look around.

"Grey walls..."

His gaze shifted around the room; crates, various consoles, and dead screens.

"Where am I?...

He looked down at his pale body, then raised his hands and felt his face.

"Who am I?"

Most times, Coruscant was a wonder to Estelle. Its sheer vastness, the multitude of life that its innumerous city lights represented always served to awe her. The sheer scope of the thriving, heaving megatropolis never ceased to give her that feeling of being part of the great hub and pulse of the galaxy. Every speeder-jammed street, each teeming walkway somehow gave her a sense of well being that though she seemed small and insignificant by comparison, and that the world moved on inexorably around her, she was on a path she knew well, a purpose that was unshakeable. She knew where she was going.

But not tonight. Tonight the city felt like a maze that sought to thwart her at each turn. A stranger bent on deceiving and delaying her. Every intersection was a puzzle, every turn a roll of the dice as to wether Estelle was going closer to Navaria or further away. With no fixed lock on the gentle Jedi knight, Estelle drove aimlessly. She did not wonder at Corsucant tonight. Tonight she cursed it.

"Dang this City!"

Estelle beat the steering column with a clenched fist, and a honk burst loud and irritably from it, giving the Bothan who was attempting to cut into her lane quite a start.

She turned onto a thickly packed spacelane moving in the direction of the entertainment district.

"there still is no answer" came the monotoned voice over the communicator.

Pursing her lips grimly, Estelle fought to bring her mind into calm. She needed to focus.

A speeder stopped abruptly infront of her and Estelle was forced to brake and swerve to miss running into the back of it.

Deciding she was going the wrong way about things, the Jedi banked the speeder up and to the left, cutting across three lanes of oncoming traffic and ducked down a side lane.

Hovering there beside a fifteen foot Cola sign with a twi'lek who had fabulous teeth was drinking a can, Estelle sat quietly and tried to focus the force.

Aimless searching was producing nothing, the communicator was still ringing but it too was producing nothing. Perhaps the Force could bring her some direction.

Navaria cupped his cheek with a hand and let it slide away, "I know." She believed that Slayn would take care of her.

She sensed that he was annoyed. "This shouldn't take long. Relax." Navaria tried to lock eyes with Slayn, but he was so focused on her comm. "This is Navaria. Go ahead."

Estelle Russard

Estelle had settled herself, the speeder hovering in an idle state in the laneway - a centered calm as the rest of the city sped by.

She pictured Navaria in her mind's eye bringing what detail she could recall of her fellow Jedi. Her long soft locks of brown shiny hair, those serene and sensitive brown eyes framed by thick lashes; the soft smile that at times hinted a sadness just beneath the surface, Navaria rose in image in Estelle's conscious.
Estelle tried to lock onto the familiar about Navaria, the way she carried herself or the sound of her voice.

"This is Navaria. Go ahead."

Estelles eyes popped open in surprise. For a moment she had thought the voice had come on a different plane altogether, but then heard the telltale crackle of the comm beside her.

Snatching the device as if it were a lifeline to a floundering sailor lost at sea, Estelle spoke with an urgency that surprised even herself.

"Navaria! You're in great danger!"

Navaria blinked several times, trying to recall the voice on the other end of the comm. She drew a blank. Whoever it was sounded desperate. What possible danger could Slayn put her in? He already promised she was safe and Navaria remembered him.

"Who is this?" It was obvious that she was irritated. To Estelle, it sounded like she had interrupted something important.

Slayn Cloak
May 24th, 2004, 09:59:13 PM
Slayn searched Navaria's mind, it came with very little effort; The bonds that had been placed nearly a year ago proved to be quite powerful. He could feel her anxiety, Slayn had never known her to be so lost. Navaria had always been so headstrong, her mind was always stronger than his, but always open.

His mind raced, he knew with the memories he possessed he could heal her mind. The bond they shared would allow this, but he could change them... mold her mind into whatever he wanted.

" No, I... "

The young Cloak spoke before he even realized it. The breach of composure was alarming; Slayn could feel that Navaria noticed the change. She would want to know what he was thinking, or at least, why he had spoken. It obviously wasn't in protest to the interruption.

Still, Slayn was more concerned with his emotions. He cared deeply for, maybe even loved Navaria; He could never change anything about her. He had partially decided what he was going to do when he spoke again.

" There are already too many Jedi about. You should know they'll cause you no harm; But I'm afraid they wont allow you to come with me. "

As he spoke, he held her tighter, and his gaze shifted to Xaxor. Slayn lifted his right arm and extended his palm towards her. As he did so, the force placed its grip around her and she went into a type of stasis.

" She'll be fine in an hour or so, absolutely no harm I swear it."

Slayn lowered his head and stepped backward looking deeply into her eyes.

" I'll take you where no one will come between us, you'll always be free to leave of course, all I'm offering is help. "

He took the time to breathe, enjoy the air, he had forgotten how it felt. For a while he was actually concentrating on the simple act which most species take for granted. He laughed at this thought, perhaps a little too loud, but he didn't care. He was glad to be alive, if a rancor were to come up behind him he wouldn't notice.

He sighed as he stopped laughing and stood up almost crumbling under his immense weight. "Whoa!..." he thought as he leaned back to cease from falling. Perhaps he was out of practice or perhaps there was another reason. He knew how to stand and walk around, he knew what a ship was, he knew more or less how the Universe worked. Yet, the act of walking seemed so natural, yet difficult right now. He tried to step forward and walk around the room, it felt... uncomfortable at first but soon he was running and it felt good. No, it was better than that, it felt great. He jumped over the smaller boxes, and ducked under the small lifts and cranes.

But all too soon he came back to his senses from his euphoria and it was back to business at hand. Back to the questions that were haunting him, at least the first question for now. It seemed more important by the look of his location. The room seemed to lack power, the assumption was he was onboard a ship but he would have to explore the area to find out more... and the other assumption was that if this room was missing power; either one section of the ship would be disabled, or in the worst case the whole ship was disabled. But then again he might have been being pessimistic, he knew he had always been this way. Perhaps there was just a short and this was the only room lacking power... doubtful. Life support was still enabled at least.

"Sigh..."

Fingers moving rapidly over the command screen, Estelle tried to establish a lock on the position of the return transmission.

While a 3-dimensional grid appeared onscreen and rotated on an inner axial navigation pole, Estelle watched with tense hope that it would work as quickly it was supposed to, and tried to connect with Navaria as best she could.

Estelle was aware of Navaria's current loss of memory and all things familiar, so stating she was her friend would no doubt mean little to the endangered knight.

"Reach out with the force Navaria, let it guide you as to who your enemy is. My name is Estelle - I want to help"

The grid grew more specific as to general position, but still no concrete location was pinpointed..

Navaria looked up at Slayn and saw his love for her, but she also felt a conflict within him. What that conflict was, she did not know. What she did know is that this was a chance to get her memories back. Slayn was confident he could do this and it furthered her hope. The Jedi had yet to give her a straight answer. Her memories would return in time, they said. The Masters were looking into a solution to her problem...

She tried being patient with the Order but they didn't know what it was like to be her. Not knowing who you were, what you liked, who your friends were ... who you loved. Her thoughts strayed to Sanis, remembering how he reacted. He was so angry and Navaria couldn't comprehend the damage her amnesia caused him. Now, she did to some extent but there were no feelings of guilt or regret in having hurt the Smuggler's feelings. She also knew her mere presence wounded the Jedi. They might be able to hide their feelings well, but she knew in her gut that they were upset with her. With what had happened... And she was still clueless as to what caused her amnesia in the first place.

Slayn's offer was too good to be true....

"Reach out with the force Navaria, let it guide you as to who your enemy is. My name is Estelle - I want to help"

Though the voice on the other end of the comm was unfamiliar, Navaria could hear Estelle's honesty. The woman had to be a Jedi by the way she spoke and Navaria just knew the concern was genuine ... but so was Slayn's.

The situation was becoming all together confusing. All she wanted was to be who she was again ...

Reach out with the Force...

The comm was still in her hand but Navaria continued to stare at Slayn. Focusing on him. Again, she felt his love but as she probed further...

"I ... I'm not sure. I...", there was a sense of darkness about him. Of dread. It wasn't unlike the sense she got about herself at times, though Navaria wasn't certain why she felt this. "Damnit!" She tightened her hand around the comm in frustration. It was like her mind was being pulled in two separate directions, wanting to believe them both but she didn't know why. "I don't understand."

Slayn lowered his lips to the Jedi's ear before he softly spoke.

"She's honestly concerned Navaria, she cares about you. I told you they fear me, they don't understand. They are forever suspended in the feelings you now harbor. Doubt, confusion; They lead to fear, fear to hate, and hate inevitably to the Dark side. That's not for you, no you can only be yourself, I told you I would protect you. Now, please, we must go."

His eyes softened as they met hers, his sincerity and love where deep and true. He turned his head as he began to walk toward a YT- 1930, He could sense at least two men aboard; They would have to be dealt with.

Estelle could hear the low murmur of another voice in the background, but could not make out what was being said. it made her skin prickle, however, and she knew that something sinister was luring Navaria from the light.

Fighting a rising panic, her mind raced to find the right words to say that would give Nav pause and offer a chance to stop the dark seduction of her mind.

"Do nothing rash, Navaria. Don't be hurried into making a choice you're not sure of. The truth needs a chance to reveal itself to you"

There was no reply.

Aevenon had been going about his normal routine when he had heard about the killings in the storage. It wasn't far from where he was and he kept wondering if the killer would come his direction so he kept on eye out as he finished his job of moving pallets of durasteel, awaiting transport. Wonder what the killer could have wanted?

An hour went by and no more news about the killer or anything else exciting so he just assumed it was a random act. His shift was ending so he was preparing to take off when suddenly, he was on his knees clutching his chest. Some of his co-workers rushed over to him to see if he was ok, but he just waved them away. He wasn't in pain or anything, but something had happened alright. Something had touched him, had touched his soul. It was bright and intense, but what could it be?

He stood up and looked around. He noticed that when he turned a certain direction, the feeling became stronger.

Wow...whatever this is...it is just so wonderful, he thought as he started walking in the direction this feeling appeared to be coming from. Soon it was like a fire was consuming him from the inside and working its way out. He just had to find out what it was making him feel like this. It was driving him crazy, but at the same time it was also somewhat soothing as if he knew what it was, but couldn't put his finger on it. Hopefully I'll come to the end of this soon...

Navaria had not again yet responded, and as Estelle held to the tenuous connection of the communicator, she watched keenly while the tracer screen shifted and narrowed grid by grid with each passing second.

Come on........come on....

These gadgets were infuriating at times. They had no sense of urgency. Someone should invent a tracking apparatus that had a "panic" mode that would automatically recognize the dire need of the user and hurry things up.

Keeping her voice level, she spoke to her fellow Jedi, "Navaria, still with me?"

Come on already....

She tapped the screen, which served no purpose other than to shake the image, but made Estelle feel she was assisting things along.

"Navaria, I want to help you."

Then, a blinking red triange. There, got her! Navaria and company were at the Spaceport.

Estelle thrust the speeder into drive and jutted forward rudely into the stream of traffic. She ignored the offended chorus of chirping, bleeting horns from those she cut in on.

At the push of a button, the tracer screen automatically gave a map from the speeder's current position to the most direct route to destination. Estelle did not need the map, however, the route was familiar.

Five minutes and she would be there. Such a terribly long time..

"I don't want to go to the Dark Side...." She felt herself choking up. She felt a deeply rooted fear when those two words were said by Slayn. "I can't turn. I can't... This much I do know..."

Navaria was shaking with confusion. Slayn's thoughts were confusing to her. They enhanced the darkness that she felt within him. "What do you mean by ... dealt with?"

" You shouldn't read so deeply into things Navaria; I meant only that we should have to, convince them, to lend us there ship."

Slayn could feel her confusion, it pained him to know he was the cause of this, but was she any better off before? His sincere words where held only by Navaria's mind.

"Blast!" a man's voice is heard throughout the empty corridor.

The door wasn't opening, it seemed like he would be stuck in that dark room. Yet he still maintained hope. He had no choice but to if he was to survive. Perhaps there was another exit. Oxygen had to be supplied in the room somehow... but where?...

"Where are you?..." he murmured as his eyes shifted around the dark room. His eyes had adjusted themselves to the lack of light. After all he had spent an hour attempting to pry the door open with a shard of plasteel he found on the floor. The "crowbar" now lay on the floor bent in half and useless. There was of course some light in the room; light from a cracked monitor, the crack underneath the door also provided illumination, as well as a few emergency lights in the corners of the room placed on the ceiling (the only sensible place for emergency lights).

He continued to scan along the ceiling and then down near the floor, if his guess was correct there should be a removable hatch hidden in the tiles. If of course his guess was correct and he was aboard an Imperial ship. If not then he was SOL. Minutes pass...

"There! There it is!"

Indeed, as luck would have it he had found it. No, not luck... something else... Unfortunately it was inaccessible due to a large crate which seemed immovable by human strength. He sighed... but immediately came up with a solution. The monitor... if it still worked then there would have to be a crane or something to move it. He ran back to the barely functioning control panel.

"Hello?"

Looking at the static communicator, Estelle almost ran into a powder-blue speeder, driven by a similar powder-blue skinned twi'lek.

Skirting gingerly to the right, she returned the comm to her pocket and pulled off into the spacelane leading to the space port.

There, she parked illegally, and sprang from her vehicle to sprint into the congested terminal of one of Coruscants busiest departure points.

Taking a turbo lift to the upper level - a walkway which was originally designed as an employee thoroughfare being a quick and crowd-free pathway to the enormous shuttle loading and boarding bays. It had since been opened to the public as passengers had insisted on using it despite the many signs that had declared STAFF ONLY BEYOND THIS POINT. It was too much effort to enforce the rule.

Taking a moment, Estelle leaned against the chest-high walk-way railing and allowed her eyes to scan the levels below.

He was getting close, he could feel it. But he still had a ways to go, wait no he didn't. He was there. He looked around eagerly searching for the cause of this feeling, but found nothing. Uhhh? What's going on? This spot is where it is the strongest, but I can't see anything that would cause it.

Slowly an answer dawned on him and he looked downwards. It is under me! But how am I supposed to get down there? He asked himself as he walked in the building slowly. Now the farther he went from the feeling, the less brightly it burned, and his heart ached for that reason, but he rejoiced in the fact that soon he would be back and this time he would be able to see the cause of such a glorious emotion.

"Everything was making sense. But then," Navaria sighed, her shoulders drooping heavily as if in defeat. "but then the Force seems to be telling me things that are conflicting with my heart. I just don't understand why it is doing this!" Her chin became rigid in frustration and her hands balled into fists. She could feel nails digging into the palm of her hand. Slayn was becoming annoyed and the prospect of another interloper wasn't settling. Navaria was becoming more stressed and losing faith by the moment, it wouldn't be long before she lost trust in everyone; this was unacceptable, even if it would lead her to his side. Slayn spoke almost as if to safe guard the continuity of this woman he had become so infatuated with.

" Maybe you shouldn't have come here; being near me has always garnered an adverse effect on your composure."

The young Master grasped her arm carefully, leading her toward the next corridor as he continued his remarks.

" If you're not strong enough to make your own rules perhaps then you should continued to follow the guided path of your order- You can hide there forever."

As if to punctuate the choice Slayn had just put to Navaria - to stay with him or return to her Order - Estelle stepped into their corridor from an adjoining thoroughfare.

Recognizing the aura of darksided force that swathed Slayn and attempted to bleed over Navaria in blatant assult, Estelle dropped her hand to her lightsaber hilt, unclasping it, and stood firmly in their path.

Speaking calmly, but with firm authority, she called to her comrade while holding Slayn with a defiant stare. Navaria Tarkin belonged to the Light. To the Jedi. She did not belong in the company of this deciever who, even now, intensified his hold on her arm.

"Navaria, step from the darksider"

Navaria Tarkin

Navaria was aghast and looked up at Slayn with tear-filled eyes, "You would give me up just like that, after everything you have told me?"

Unfortunately, Slayn was right. Her thoughts were becoming irrational, but Slayn's behavior made little sense. He was so adamant to help her and claimed to know what was best for her. Then her doubts came to mind because of the sensations she was picking up through the Force. His aura was dark and deceptive, which conflicted with how her heart felt towards him. It was what triggered her current mental state and now he wanted her to go back to the Order? The same place that he claimed how no idea on how to help her.

Then another presence came directly into view, startling Navaria. She had no recognition of whom this person was. She was a Jedi, there was no mistaking that. Behind the determination within the woman's voice, there was a deep concern for her well being. Similar to Slayn, but the word darksider touch a cord inside of her and she felt apprehensive suddenly, not fully understand why.

"Slayn, what does she mean by that?" She queried and turned to face him. He noticed that her immediate distress was gone but could feel that Navaria's mood could swing again.

Slayn had for seen this and wasn't the least bit surprised; though he had hoped to avoid this situation, there was now little he could do to avoid it. The young master let his eyes fall upon her's, the confusion in her mind birthing deep emotion in his. Navaria's tears reminded him of scars and the pain he will feel in her absences. Darkness began to manifest itself in his eyes, the tenebrous matter falling from his cheek as tears and dissipating into nothing as it hit the floor. Slayn spoke to her in the most sincere manner he had ever...

"It means that you're to live a life of servitude; unfortunately my love you will always be trapped within moral opposition. The Jedi fear me because I act only as I see fit; I serve nothing but my own ideals."

Slayn's voice had grown somewhat horse, as his throat had become tight and weakened his ability to speak. His eyes lifted as his aura dissipated and his attention turned to Estelle.

"You wont be needing that, please give me a little more credit. She needs to decide for herself what she wants from her life, and abilities. You know she would appreciate your concern, but she's never been completely traditional, and I know I can restore her to her former self."

Slayn pulled Naviria close to him embracing her warmly, he whispered one last thing to her, distorting Estelles perception so she was sure not to hear. He barely spoke the words, releasing his breath to her ear:

"I fear this may be the last time I hold you"

Estelle Russard

Well, this was disturbing.

The familiar regard with which Slayn embraced Navaria came as an unwelcome surprise to Estelle. Not to mention the fact that Navaria looking to him for guidance, was unsettling in the extreme.

Slayn spoke with a honeyed tongue to Navaria, comforting her. He turned a similar tone toward Estelle, though thinly veiling a rebuke in his words in order to continue the manipulation.

This guy was really trying to work a number here.

Estelle fought against the rise of anger at the man's audacity.

Navaria was in no state to make a choice to change her life in such a drastic fashion as he would suggest. Her memory loss was the only reason Slayn had been so far successful in his attempt to mislead her. Estelle knew that. Slayn must know it also.

And what they also both knew was that Estelle needed to be very careful what she did right now. The wrong move, the wrong word, could push Navaria away from the Jedi and into his waiting arms. The thought of that made Estelle's stomach knot.

Not making any move to put away her weapon, but also, pointedly, not making any move of agression toward Slayn, Estelle stood her ground, and raised herself a little taller as she again addressed Navaria.

"You have time to make choices, Navaria. If change is what you want, there is no one to stop you. But you must be given the time to think things through. To find your memories again. To find the anchors of your life and remember who you are."

Estelle looked over at Slayn. "If this man cares for you like he says he does, he wont want to take you from what little is familiar to you at the Order. Or hurry you away without a word to anyone. He will be patient for you to make a definite decision.
Listen to what your heart tells you, Navaria."

In Estelle's mind she could see vividly the image of her dream. The doors partially open. The false light beckoning. Navaria turning in place, her struggle to make the right choice of which door to step through.

...listen to what your heart tells you, Navaria....

Navaria welcomed the embrace and returned it in kind. Slayn was making this decision so terribly difficult. His admission caused her to tighten her hold on him, and she wondered how was it possible to fear and adore this man all at the same time. It was only until the Jedi began to speak again did Navaria peel herself away to look at her, and when she was finished, the brunette's arms fell away from Slayn's.

A cord was struck inside Navaria, not by what the Jedi had said, but how it was spoken. With Slayn, his words were colored, miring some darkness that was inside him. The love that he felt towards her was true, but something he said disturbed her.

The Jedi fear me because I act only as I see fit; I serve nothing but my own ideals.

What also disturbed Navaria is that she missed that comment from before. Her eyes lingered on Estelle, narrowing ever so slightly as she got a feel for her as she did Slayn. With him, it was unintentional but perhaps if she focused on this woman, perhaps she could achieve the same result. Nothing came at first, but as her mind quieted down from her confusion, she sensed familiarity.

"I know you." Navaria stepped out of Slayn's arms, curious at this discovery. Her head quirked to the side, studying this feeling further, as she moved closer towards Estelle. It was so strange. The closer she moved towards Estelle, the calmer she became. Or, was it due to her trying to read her? As frustrating as a question it could be, Navaria didn't feel that way. She was rather curious at the sensation since there did not seem to be anything hidden from her.

"You're a ... Jedi ... Master?" Navaria questioned carefully, worried that she may be wrong about this. Part of her did not think so, but with the memory loss, it was easy to second guess gut feelings.

Slayn watched Navaria pull away from him, watched her walk toward Estelle, and new for certain at this point that she had made her decision. She may still be confused enough for him to lull her back into his grasp, but Slayn didn't want to exploit her misfortune. He had enjoyed his chance to see her again, and only wished his dreams could be reality. With these thoughts he began to speak though he wasn't ready to concede all together.

"I told you that you knew her Navaria, search her feelings she's very concerned for you. She's afraid that if you leave with me she will see you again, but that you will have become some horrible creature; such as myself I suppose she would say."

He then turned his attention to Estelle.

"Again I beg you to lower your weapon it's unnecessary; I must say its been sometime since I've seen such an aggressive Jedi."

Slayn began to circle the pair in a non threatening manner.

"You should watch that, aggression is a tool of the Dark side."

The Dark Jedi had to stop himself from laughing after his last remark, a crisp smile showing itself on his face; at this point he came to an abrupt stop behind them as he finished his continual banter.

"I can't say I'm not insulted, you're treating me like some common antagonist. I'm not a Sith after all, and as far as I'm concerned you Jedi can carry on however you'ed like to. I just happen to do the same on an individual level; I can't see why you hate that. I can guarantee no harm will befall you, just so long as you don't act aggressively."

Nov 28th, 2004, 09:41:56 PM
Hope rose in Estelle's heart as Navaria spoke and stepped nearer. A faint and uncertain flicker of recognition entered the Knight's eyes as memory strove to the surface of her mind. It had been just a flicker, but it was enough to ease a little the anxiety that had formed earlier into a solid ball in Estelle's belly.

She inclined her head in the affirmative, "That's right, Navaria. You know me. Though there are others beside myself that you are closer to within the Order, it is safe to say that we are friends."

Estelle gave her a soft smile of encouragement.

"You are correct also in what your senses tell you - I am a Jedi Master."

Slayn chose this moment to remind all of his presence, and Estelle was forced to stifle an exasperated sigh as he again drew Navaria's attention toward himself.

Whatever game this man was playing, he was doing so quite well. For all his relaxed manner and repeated assurances, however,Estelle knew he was dead serious and that he was extremely dangerous. For him to put Estelle as the aggressor seemed ludicrous - from her own perspective, at least. But, Navaria might not think so. It all hinged on how Navaria was reading things.

It was clear the jedi Knight had some solid feelings toward this stranger. Something from her past, perhaps? Or was it more recent? Which ever it was, it could be counted on to confuse and muddle her judgement. Estelle had to keep confidence in the power of the force, and the truth that was struggling to reveal itself to Navaria.

Already Navaria was showing signs of her jedi-senses, even if she could not remember how she was doing it. Through her past training and practiced discipline, her skills came almost natural and without conscious thought. She was, after all, a jedi knight even if she didnt remember it. That fact was unaltered.

Still Slayn spoke on,

" I can guarantee no harm will befall you, just so long as you don't act aggressively."

Yeah, I bet, Estelle thought drily.

She was not usually the cynical type, but somehow this Slayn fellow was bringing the sentiment out in her in spades.

"Why is it," she asked smoothly then, "that despite what you say, I sense a distinct threat from you?" She didn't wait for him to answer, but instead continued on. "However, since we are assuring one another - give me no cause, and there shall be no move on my part to harm you."

She twisted her upper body to look directly into Slayn's eyes as he stood behind them.

"Allow Navaria the time and space to make her decision. You would agree with me that that is fair and in her best interests?"

Navaria Tarkin

The two of them continued to verbally spar back and forth, but Slayn was trying to antagonize Estelle intentionally. Navaria couldn't understand why he was doing this. It was true the Jedi arrived with a weapon out in the open, but she never made any gesture to use it. Why did he try to bait her into doing so? That must be what the Jedi was sensing, for she was sensing an ulterior motive from him too.

Navaria had to step to the side to see Slayn again since he positioned himself behind Estelle. Navaria really wished he hadn't left her side like that. As non-threatening as his movement was, the fact that he had stopped behind Estelle worried her, yet Navaria could feel another emotion rising to the surface as the two of them continued to square off.

Anger.

The peace that was had to deduce that Estelle was a Jedi Master was brushed to the side. Her hands had already balled into fists, trying to fight the urge to scream at them. She found this scene stupid. It was like they were her parents, arguing in front their daughter over what was best for her, completely ignoring that she was in the room. Yes she had no memory and would need the both of them to make a decision, but she should not be left out of the discussion.

Like the good daughter she was, Navaria interrupted before Slayn could quip in a comeback, "Stop it! Stop ... it ... NOW!" She had not meant to yell, but she could not help it for her emotions had taken control. Slayn had seen this before when Navaria became distraught over the conflicting feelings coming from him. He and Estelle watched as she struggled with herself, trying to verbalize the turmoil inside of her. Out of frustration, she grabbed at her hair as if trying to pull the memories from her head and spoke to no one in particular, "Why must you fight over me?? Why can't I remember and stop this stupid argument???"

There was a significant shift in the force. And Navaria was at its nucleus. Her outburst brought everything to the point with one frantic shout.

Estelle's blink of surprise gave way to a softer expression, acknowledging Navaria's frustration.

"I fight for you Navaria, not over you.

...But you must fight too."

She returned her weapon to its clip at her waist, signifying to Navaria that it was she, after all, who was really in the battle and not just Estelle and Slayn.

"You must be a willing participant in your own healing, Navaria. Neither of us can force your will. We want to help. You must have the will to allow it. And the courage to choose what you know deep down to be right."

Estelle tried not to preach. But sometimes there just was no helping it.

Slayn was surprised by Navaria's outburst, he had never seen her lose her composure so completely, or in a negative way; this was very dangerous. His thoughts of Navaria however, where cut short as the words "We" left Estelles mouth. Slayn couldn't believe she would say such a thing, he must had misunderstood her, she would never except his help, much less let him care for Navaria.

She couldn't have meant that... why would she?

Slayn realised he was thinking freely and quickly raised his mental guard; Estell may not have his mental abilities, but anyone could read an open mind. This really wasn't important though, he needed to calm Navaria down... At this point Slayn went with his only option. Slayn stepped next to Estelle, standing at her side he looked at Navaria, trying to maintain a united look, and spoke to her again.

"I said this before, she just wants to help you. I can't say that I'm fighting, simply trying to prove my point. You've always been reluctant to come with me, but once I stayed with you... can you remember?"

Slayn began to focus on the time they had spent together during his Solis at the Jedi academy, He knew Navaria would be able to pick them up; He hoped she would ant to remember them.

"So I must have been a soldier sent to fight in the war. But why am I in here and why is the power off?" he questioned himself aloud hoping in vain to trick himself into answering the questions. Another thought came to mind: what happened to the rest of the crew? Too many questions that couldn't be answered right now, at least not by him, nor by the small console. Ah, the crane controls... what? He had found the emergency controls to open the door. He couldn't help but laugh at the situation.

"So much for moving the crate..."

His hands flew over the console and swish! the door parted open. He carefully looked out the door, unfortunately and expectedly only the emergency lights were on. It was also unbelievably cold, he then remembered he was naked, at the same time he remembered the inventory in the various crates.

A few minutes later he picked up and put on an Imperial uniform. The stormtrooper armor was uncomfortable and barely provided any protection, not really worth dealing with miscomofort. Also the helmets provided little visibility, a necessity in the barely lit ship. He picked up a heavy repeater from an adjacent crate, just in case. The gun felt very comfortable in his hands, almost familiar.

He left the room, and began to explore and investigate the mysterious ship.

Aevenon Cloak

Aevenon crept behind a large crate in the room that the three stood in. He had arrived just moments after the crazy woman in the landspeeder had almost hit him. He was surprised that they came to the same place, but right now it didn\'t matter.

He had turned the corner just in time to here the word \"Now!\" echo in the room. He had ducked behind a crate fearing an attack or something worse. After a moment the talking continued and spurred by his curiousity, Aevenon opted to listen in.

The young man walked over and peered from behind an edge of the crate. First he saw the woman who screamed when he first entered the room. She was very beautiful and for some reason eerily familiar to him, but he could not place her. Next was another woman. A Jedi from the looks of her lightsaber hanging at her side. A closer look and he recognized her as the woman from the speeder, but that couldn't be right. Jedi are supposed to protect and she was careless and almost killed him.

Not a Jedi, but a Sith then? What would she want here? He thought to himself as he turned to look at the third person. It was a young man and he seemed to be aligning himself with the older woman. Two Si...wait! It's him! Slayn...but what is he doing here?

Aevenon edged closer to get a better look at him but he bumped into the edge of the crate and it made a rather loud ping. He quickly retreated behind it, hoping he was not seen. He wanted to get closer to the Dark Jedi, but he also wanted to know what was going on before he just walked down there.

Navaria Tarkin

You've always been reluctant to come with me, but once I stayed with you... can you remember?"

A tingle came over her mind and she began to see memories through Slayn's eyes. It was rather disorientating since she was looking through his eyes, mainly watching herself stare back at him. The background suggested they were surrounded by jungle but Navaria had no recollection of the Academy being there, only here on Coruscant since those were recent memories.

"I..." She fell silent, staring down at the ground in thought. There was a distinct sense that memory was old. Something inside her just knew it to be true, which meant that she had been with the Jedi for a longer time then she had originally thought. What little records of her life the Council had shown her indicated as much but they were not as descriptive as she would have liked. They wanted her to fall into familiar patterns before going over every specific detail of her life.

Her eyes fell upon Slayn once more, seeing the love held for her as well as pain. The memory had also shown a conflicted interest between the two of them which lead to his departure from the Academy, mainly due to her having feelings for another, though the name was never brought up from what he had shown.

".... Sanis?" She said, blinking in confusion. Why had that name come to her all of a sudden. He was the one at the bar and grill that recognized her and was terribly angry at Navaria when she couldn't recall who he was.
