I'm so terribly discouraged over all the bad starts and drop offs with this character that I'm seriously thinking of deleting the account. Look at when I've joined and then look at what I've tried to do. I've tried to bring her to life and get her involved and I seem to keep falling flat on my face.

I don't know what to do anymore.

Jump into open stuff. Start open stuff. It's all about the open stuff. That's the only way things progress. Closed storyline stuff has a tendancy to just keel over, from experience.

You did really well in the thread "Making Street Food". I should know... I Play Talzen, Shanaria, and Thug... All of which were in that thread.

Your doing well, just get into more open threads... :)

It is rather difficult to break into the hardcore stuff. The method that usually seems to work in most cases is:

1) Join board
2) OOC post like CRAZY, almost to the point of spamming, but don't <smallfont color={hovercolor}>-Censored-</smallfont> anyone off.
3) People recognize your character's name from all your posts.
4) People/friends start rps with you in mind.
5) Now you can show off your rping skills

At least that's how I see it. Other than that, to become a major player, you have to become friends with the other posters ooc. At times it is stressful.

I disagree, but whatever.

I think you've been running Soolin with the wrong crowd, but as a character she has a lot of potential

Find one person/character to latch Soolin to. Develop her and give her direction through that.

I did that with Estelle and Kazaar and it made a Huge difference.

The only solution is to post more. :)

I agree with James there... lol
So i've been posting a heck of a lot more since I came back, and things are going a lot better. I've reached around 200 posts compared with the 20 or so I had when I came back.

Soolin is NOT failed! LD is right; you just need to get out and do more posting. Show us what Soolin's made of, an' all that stuff. I'm here to help in any way I can. :)

No. Kitty is a person who doesn't have much free time, and the same goes for a lot of other people on here :(
